No these kits are advertised as 1:24 or half scale but they are not true to scale. Many items are smaller than 1:24th scale. Kits are sized for a perspective view with larger items in the front and smaller items in the background

Q: How hard is this to assemble?

Compared to the other kits this one is much simpler.

Q: Did anyone else's set come with missing pieces? i bought the wooden hut and it's missing a few of the fabric bits. how's their customer service?

I had a couple of missing pieces and they shipped them after emailing with exact descriptions of what I was missing. The ones from China will NOT have the glue in them as it’s against the law to ship from China. There are some kits that come with the glue. If you run out I highly recommend getting the 512 glue which you can find on Amazon or eBay. It’s clear and dries fast and I think it’s the same that comes with some Of the kits.

Q: how do you construct the chimney?

Out of the black paper. You should have instructions at the end of the book.
