A wonderful heart warming read
As a long time fan of everything Elizabeth Hunter writes I've had this sat on my kindle for far too long. Having long not been in the mood for going outside the paranormal genre that I normally stick to, I found myself in the world's lockdown looking for something more wholesome and comforting to read and right now I am very glad I left it until now to read! Absolutely perfect in every way. I totally fell for Emi and Ox, both utterly wonderful and alive off the page, their chemistry and dynamic was real, exciting and utterly heart warming. I know I will be back to read this again and again when I need something comforting and enjoyable to read. As always the quality of everything this author puts to the page stands head and shoulders above much else.

Slow burn, small town love story. Fab!
It's been far too long since I read an Elizabeth Hunter book! Although this is contemporary and not the vampires I've been more used to, I really enjoyed Ink.It was a sweet, small town, opposites attract, business partners who make a pact to keep it strictly business romance, but hah, with the slow burn, sizzling chemistry between book worm Emmie and tattooed rule breaker artist Ox, will they their attraction make or break them and their new business?I really enjoyed this, it was easy to read, had humour, a little drama and packed some romantic heat. A few great side characters I'm looking forward to reading about too.4.25 stars

A Good short story
INK: is very different from any book I've read by Elizabeth Hunter but I really enjoyed it, it's a believable love story in a book shop with a difference ( I think this would be my ideal bookshop) Elizabeth Hunter has always been a great romance writer but usually in the paranormal world. This book can be read on it's own or there are two more books in the series that continues on with other characters introduced in INK:. Definitely worth the read.

I loved the concept from the start
I loved the concept from the start, but reading it brought it alive beautifully. These are characters that you can see living their lives down the road from you and that makes them lovable and relatable. The story felt real and that is awesome.Early on I wondered a bit if it was going to keep my interest as I wasn't sure about the challenges set up for the main characters and the start felt a bit like setting up more book possibilities rather than getting into the present story. This did not last long and I was sucked back in, enjoying the main and side characters so much that I hope there will be more. One I will want to read again and again when the mood strikes. I am now pondering tattoos again (had put it off a while) and wish I had Emmie's T-shirt selection. They sound amazing!

Another fantastic read
I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Hunter's Supernatural themed books. I'd go as far as to say she's my favourite author. Because of this, I had to give Ink a try. I was dubious because it's a romance and not of a similar theme to most of her other books but she did not disappoint. I've never known an author create chemistry between characters like Hunter and she has done it again here, and not just between the main characters, Emmie and Ox. The web of relationships in this book is intriguing and so natural. The story is lovely and just made me smile, a lot. I'm hoping that there will be more like this from Hunter! I was so impressed with this that I bought (and read in less than 24 hours) her other romance novel, The Genius and the Muse. It turns out that was just as good Elizabeth Hunter is an amazingly talented writer!

Ink will stain your heart xx
Well after reading this in one sitting I must say I was blown away by another world that has been created by Elizabeth Hunter. I was actually in my own head opening up that bookshop. I was there falling in love with a whole bunch of new people especially Emmie and Ox.This story was so beautiful and well written I have not been able to mentally leave the story yet.If your thinking why should I read Ink I'm saying your missing out if you don't.

A sweet and sexy contemporary romance
This is a slight change of direction from Elizabeth Hunter's usual genre but the quality of the writing and character portrayal is as good as ever. It's a very sweet and sexy romance and as it's set in a bookstore-cum-tattoo parlour there are plenty of literary references thrown in as well. I'm already looking forward to the next book in the series.

Gentle,inspiring romance
I really enjoy Elizabeth Hunters work and this was a very different book from her. But she knows how to write characters you get invested in - and half way through I was already trying to work out whose romance would be next.Language a bit rough in places and I prefer the sexual tension to the actual sex scenes (page skipping here) but I'll definitely be reading the next one when it comes out .
