Its very sturdy. There are no instructions supplied apart from a tag attached to the pole, as its meant to be dead simple. But all you have to do is fix the suppplied collar onto the desk mounted pole at the correct height. Attach the backplate to the monitor and gently put the arm plus monitor on to the pole.

I purchased this arm to add onto two other Duronic arms.. to support a laptop computer.. laid flat - not vertical as with a monitor.. placed onto a frame it works perfectly rising and lowering at a touch and smack on to the correct angle

Not strong enough for the heavier end of the rated weight. Rated up to 7.8 kg but won't hold a 7.7 kg screen without buckling.

I like duronic products. They do the job and don’t cost too much. Easily holds up my 22” lg monitor.Rotation from horizontal to vertical is a bit stiff, but not a big problem.
