Glad I bought this lock
I looked at stores first before purchasing this lock. Locks in stores were not very good or better than this one. They were very cheap and generic. I was going to purchase a masterlock cable bike lock but they were out of stock. Then I was going to buy a fabric covered chain link one but it can be cut with bolt cutters. Almost if not all locks can be cut with bolt cutters so I did not see reason to buy a big bulky lock if it was not going to offer more security plus I didn't want to bang up my bike.The lock is easy to use, offers good protection, and doesn't damage my bike. I bought this lock to protect the Ozone 500 mountain bike I paid $121 after shipping and tax. It would not be cost effective to buy a $100 lock for this bike.This lock is better than $6 locks at big box stores and they are usually out of stock. For me this lock is better than ulocks because my bike frame has full suspension and mounting options are limited. I wrap the cable around the frame instead of using the seat mount because I need the seat post as low as it can go. Leaving the cable unwrapped by 2 coils makes locking and unlocking easy to do. The cable stays in place and doesn't slide around even with 2 coiled unwound nor does it interfere with riding or look funny.The resettable lock feature is nice and makes like easy not having to carry another key. This lock is best value and works really good so I think it is better than any other lock and at a cheaper price. I wanted to buy a fancier lock but couldn't justify paying more for something that didn't add security, convenience, or style.

Sturdy looking product
Sturdy looking product. works as advertised. only reason i marked it as 2 stars is that the bracket does not fit my bike. I wrote back to the seller about this and they basically said that i need to buy the bracket from Amazon, they dont sell it. Strange response!! they sold me the bracket, but dont think it is their responsibility if it doesnt fit. Last time i buy anything from SHUNFA.
