Would probably work for some people but too large for me
I've actually been looking for a device like this one for many years in hopes of mitigating my snoring. The mechanics of this design has always seemed like an effective way to prevent snoring, essentially pulling your lower jaw outward to open the portion of your airway that causes snoring.Despite custom fitting the guard to my teeth, I found it to be too large overall to get comfortable with in my mouth. If the mouthguard was less tall I do believe it would work for me, but I simply can't use it as is. I will say that the quality of the item and instructions are very good and I have no problems there. This is more of a personal preference. One other note on this type of design. A lot of information has come out in recent years showing that mouth-breathing has some negative health impacts that should be avoided, which is why mouth tapes have become so popular as of late. Food for thought.

kinda big, but I guess that's the point
It does a great job of opening up the breathing passage, but it forces your mouth to be wide open which: a) isn't particularly comfortable (my jaw's relaxed position is nearly shut, not gaping open), and b) is a drool trap waiting to happen if you don't sleep exclusively on your back. But...Out of the box, the un-formed teeth channels feel quite restrictive. The instructions, which are poorly printed on the backside of mine and quite difficult to read, say it will decrease in size by 30% after placed in boiling water and shaped to the teeth. I didn't measure before and after, but I would say that's very optimistic. I would guess it shrinks by 10% at most. I can touch my lips together, but it's a stressed position to do so.The 'advance' adjustments are easy to use, with the upper and lower half pulling apart and snapping back together at the desired indicator. But, the scale isn't aligned well, as the #1 position looks like it points to 2.I think it's biggest benefit would be when sick, forcing the mouth open so you're not miserable trying to breathe through a stuffy nose.

Can't be used with crowns
I have sleep apnea and use a cpap. I was looking for something that could help me minimize the slight airway issue (and snoring) when I sat in my chair for a short nap. I was disappointed that I couldn't even attempt to use this because it clearing states, on the inside instructions, to not use it if you have crowns unless your dentist recommends it. To me, that meant that they felt there could be a risk of dislodging a crown or harming a loose tooth when attempting to custom fit the mouth guard. I never would have purchased this if, on the product page, it had clearly indicated that it shouldn't be used if you have crowns.

Fit makes it too uncomfortable to use
As the headline suggests, this is too uncomfortable to use consistently. The device is too big and bulky. If you have TMJ or any sort of jaw issue, then forget using this. Also, if you have any dental devices, like braces or crowns.....then forget this too.Other issues include the plastic being very uncomfortable.....perhaps a rubbery or silicone material would have been better? Also the sizing is way off....you will need to order a size down if you can. The size is so big it almost feels like you are being smothered. This would be okay if you have a big mouth, but most of us don't, so I would recommend getting something else on the market.

Good product
I've been using an anti-snoring mouthguard for a little while now, and I'm pleased to report it's making a significant difference. It took about a week to adjust to having it in my mouth at night—initially, it felt quite bulky and a bit uncomfortable. However, perseverance paid off, and I'm now used to it. The best part? I'm waking up feeling refreshed and well-rested, which indicates it's effectively curbing my snoring. For anyone struggling with similar issues, I'd recommend giving it a try, keeping in mind the adjustment period. Overall, I'm happy with the results.

Comfortable, but can't use if you have any dental appliances
It's comfortable fit, but I didn't find out until after I read the instructions that this anti-snore mouthguard is not intended for use if you have any dental appliances such as crowns, implants, bridges. Sort of defeats the purpose of having this since a good majority of people with crowns/bridges tend to be snorers as well.Wished the vendor was more upfront about product use limitations on their product page or packaging, rather than only in their instructions AFTER you buy the item.

Uncomfortable At First. But It Seems To Work...
I like the ease of use although I had to read the directions a few times. Once it's set, the rest was fairly simple.I wasn't sure what to expect with this but I used it for a few nights and asked my wife each morning did I snore. The first night yes but not as loud. The second night I snored towards an hour before waking up. She gets up before me for work. The third night was the same, no snoring until late morning (5am). So, I'm guessing this device reduces my snoring. At first, I thought I was going to choke and had to figure out the whole saliva thing. Not too bad though. Then my jaw was sore the first night. The manual does say that.I clean it everyday with toothpaste as suggested. So far this anti snoring mouth guard seems to be working. I will try adjusting it and see if that completely stops my snoring.I would say give this a try and see if it works for you.

Can't use with crowns
I was hopeful that this would help me but you cannot use it with crowns. This should be disclosed in the listing.
