So I have a massive hillside in my backyard that’s covered in mulch. About a few months ago I started noticing the mulch was being disturbed and dug up in certain places. Initially I thought it was a skunk because that’s the only thing local that dug for bugs. Made sure all crevices leading from my neighbor’s yards were covered, and again found evidence of something digging in my backyard. After some surveillance and photos, was able to determine it was a gray fox. Apparently they eat bugs, fruit and meat. I positioned the device facing the side of the fence it was coming from. It has been up two nights, and so far so good. No visits from Mr or Mrs Fox. Only time will tell.

There’s several birds and it gets so close and it’s still doesn’t register the small birds

I just wanted a relatively easy to use motion detector to scare away multiple woodpeckers using my wood house as a buffet!

I bought three different solar powered, ultrasonic scarecrows and this one was the worse. It cost less than the others and is not shaped like an owl like the other two. It worked well then suddenly the sound stopped working. It also holds water which could have been what killed part of its functionality. The other two products still work. When this item was fully functional, it performed as well as the others. Today, the squirrels look at it and continue doing whatever they want.

My house has a serious squirrel problem because of a tree behind my home… The running and footsteps has become unbearable, but due to this device, it has decreased activity tremendously! It’s worth every penny!
