Easy assembly and the price was right!!!
I've had this for almost 6 months and it's held up well. I use it to park my boat under, so I only opted for the canopy. I have a full cover for my boat for the off season but I will still be using the canopy to keep the majority of the weather off of it. I live on Cape Cod and it's like living in a wind tunnel around here. Using only the weights and anchors supplied, the cover has withstood quite a few good storms and I've been very impressed. I assembled it by myself with only mild exertion. I'm 66 and have had multiple back fusions so if I can do it, most anyone should have no issues. My only concern is the thickness of the poles. I wish they were a bit beefier. I may add some extra bracing but who knows. It's done great so far...The price was right... I'll have to see how it lasts!

wow
used the picture that had all the parts together at the same time as the parts are easy to put together the wrong direction. and the only help i needed was to install the legs as you need one to lift the side and one to put leg on. this thing is very well built.

Eventually I got it to work
I ordered this for my girlfriend's car because she has a black interior. When it arrived I got 1 box. I contacted the seller and they said that the other box (since amazon doesnt let you give more than 1 tracking number for a single shipment even if its shipping multiple boxes) was still in transit and gave me the other tracking number. Well when that got here fedex had completely destroyed the box, plus damaged, and lost some of the posts. The seller promptly shipped out replacement pieces at no charge and forwarded on my pictures of the box to help them change their box design so this doesnt happen again.Once I started installing it however I ran into a couple of issues. The cover is basically duck tape without the threads inside of it so its not suuuper strong but I was expecting it to be a little thicker. The instructions get a little vague around step 4 when it tells you to put the cover on. It says to install the corner bungees first and then the rest. It shows a tiny area being magnified but the tarp has 2 holes in the corner areas so I wasnt sure which to use. I used the holes that are open to the outside at first and that was a HUGE pain to do. Dont use those. It reminds me of that far side cartoon with the scientists where they have detailed analysis of step 1 and then step 2 is "a miracle occurs" and step 3 is the final analysis and the second scientist goes "I think you can use a little more detail in step 2".It also doesnt tell you how to put the bungees on so I dont know if I did that tight enough or if they are going to blow off in the next breeze. I would much rather have had like 12" zipties to hold the thing on to be honest. The whole thing is shaky once its assembled because it has no cross bracing at the back end. 4 more poles and an X junction or 2 long poles that cross each other would have fixed a lot of that issue. I literally was holding the far corner and leaned on it and the whole thing moved.Lastly the sandbags velcro opening is kind of small to work with. The bag itself is divided down the center which makes it a 3-4" gap to fill what looks like a 12" wide bag. So use a garden trowel to fill it and use paver sand as it compacts better. The velcro on the straps of the sand bags dont allow you to get a good tight wrap around the poles either because the hook and loop dont go all the way down the strap so you have to put it on loose which just seems wrong.Over all though my baby's car is cooler under her ducktape fortress and shes happy so I'm happy.

Great carport and great customer service!
I am writing this review 15 months after I set up the carport. I use it on a dock in Florida to cover a boat. It is always up every day of the year in heavy rains and very strong sun. However if a strong storm or hurricane is predicted, I take the canopy off, but leave all the poles up (as I have them bolted to the dock). There has been a little rusting just on the flanges at the bottom of the poles which I spray paint from time to time. After 15 months of constant Florida weather the canopy is starting to get weather beaten (a bit dry rotted), so I recently called the number in the pamphlet that came with the item and asked about sending me just a new canopy top. There are other replacements out there on Amazon but this way I knew it would be a perfect fit. I dealt with Renee from customer service who was very helpful. The price for the replacement canopy was great and the shipping was free. I’m very satisfied with this product and their customer service.PS… I gave it 5 stars for sturdiness and stability because I have mine bolted down to a dock. Not sure how it would be using just the tie downs…

Do not use in a windy area
After reading some of the reviews and the description, this sounded like a good canopy to cover my boat. Was I wrong.....Purchased in Sept 2022, the 12x20 'Heavy Duty' carport canopy. Everything came in the boxes. I was very suspect of the durability due to the thin wall frame with push button / snap together poles. It was real easy to put together, but was not stable due to the all the loose pole connections. The tarp is your standard silver, NOT heavy duty, tarp that usually last 1-2 years. Instead of using the sandbags (which honestly would not hold up to much wind), all 8 legs were strapped to a 5gal buckets that had 60# of cement in each.Knowing we had a storm approaching with high winds, and concerned with the thin walled frame, I added additional ratchet straps going to the frame to my boat trailer, being careful to not overtighten them. I've done this in the past with another canopy I purchased and the frame lasted for over 20 years. This thing was not going anywhere. Boy was I wrong! The storm come through with wind gusts in the 40-50 mile range that proceeded to twist and bend the frame and rip the top to pieces. I'm fine with the top being destroyed, as mentioned it's thin cheap material. I planned on having a high quality top made out of canvas.I'm not ok with the label that this is 'Heavy Duty'. IT IS NOT!AND...No Warranty information available on Amazon. State to contact the seller. No Company exists with the name Advance Outdoor. There's an Amazon store with no contact information.

Easy assembly
This was very easy to assemble, it helps if you have a helper, but I was able to do most of it by myself, it's very sturdy and all the parts were there and the directions were pretty good, it's a very nice unit
