Does it look good? No. Is it super old school? Yes, it even came in packaging with way, way older branding than pictured.But I have dark, thick hair and I needed it to stop getting sweaty from my skin when I exercise, especially the baby hairs. A ponytail or bun alone is not enough without reinforcements. This looks terrible - my hair mushrooms out of the top - but it does keep it locked in, which is all I wanted.Note: the teeth are really properly sharp and made of very rigid plastic; I would not recommend this for young ones. Be careful.

When I first saw this I thought this would be great cuz I remember when I was a kid I used to use these to hold my hair back to do my facial routine in the evening.However the nostalgia kicked in really quickly the mold they they used to have make them obviously needed some help a line is with alignment the teeth actually cut into my scalp cuz they weren't cuz I had excess plastic around it.I'm not complaining to complain but within 5 minutes of wearing it it must have been an old batch as well because within 5 minutes it broke,I actually have a very small head for an adult and can normally wear juvenile bicycle helmets and and ball caps and things like that so I don't have a huge bulbous head but the thing broke I fell apart which is very frustrating I should have sent it back but I had a lot going on so it didn't make it but save your money and find one in the store where you can test it yourself.I hope this helps you to make a choice. My choice now even though things are nostalgic and I'd love to have them again maybe I should leave some things in the past where they were the best memories now I have a memory of this item cutting up my scalp I actually bled different couple different places.My happy memory of this item has no tainted unfortunately. 🫤

After 15 years of keeping my hair very short, I decided to let it grow out. However, I still can't pull it back into a pony tail and I have shorter layers in the front. I remembered having one of these flexi-combs way back when my hair was longer and decided to try it again. What a great way to pull my hair off the sides and back of my neck! I read some reviews that said the comb wasn't as sturdy a plastic as it used to be, but I find the Goody comb I ordered exactly as I remembered it. My hair is thick and even with it only about 3 to 3 1/2" long, it gets heavy. This will be great for those hot summer days and an excellent way to improve the look of motorcycle helmet hair after a long ride. I recommend it.

It’s a hair product with a very obvious purpose. So, it did work for this obvious purpose, but it didn’t work for long. It snapped within a few hours of having it. I just threw it in the garbage and chalked it up to a cheap product.

I got this and a cheap one form amazon and the cheap ones one which came in a 4 pac is already in the garbage. Goody makes the best hair ties and stuff. I’m a guy who has long thick heavy hair and have had no luck with much except these guys.

This flexible comb is evidently not that flexible, as it snapped before I got it completely out of the packaging. Very disappointed, Goody is usually decent quality.

Extremely hard to put on and when I do it gets to big to wear

The other brand, for me, lasts only one wearing. Goody seems to be made of a superior grade plastic, is flexible and bounces back. The band is made very well, with smooth feel - just love it. It is good you offer Goody - it's a bit hard to find.

Bought to keep my hair out of my face during work outs since these were the best for holding back bangs when I was a kid.I have nothing I can say that isn’t a string of swears as I got it in my hair then slowly felt it slipping. Back comb , hair spray, dry shampoo, tried it on my partners hair. It either slips, unhooks, or doesn’t even want to stretch. I read reviews and shoulda just saved the money.All I wanted was a nostalgic flex comb. Now all I have is a stretchy slippery hair comb with no purpose that I assume will just break from touching it.
