RuscoFS-1-100STSS Sediment Trapper Steel Replacement Filter , White

I have the original 100 mesh filter and I next purchased a 60 mesh stainless. The 60 mesh stainless did not clog and restrict like the original 100 mesh polyester. After a few years I decided to try a 100 stainless to see how it would perform. I'm pleased to see the 100 mesh stainless also performs very well and doesn't clog as fast as the polyester filter. The polyester I would need to physically remove to clean while the stainless seems to clog less in the first place and flushing the valve seems to take care of cleaning it fairly well. Turned out to be a great mesh size and filter.

The stainless steel filter allows for backflush to function better than a plastic filter.I needed to remove the plastic filter, on a regular basis, and clean with a toothbrush (not required with this steel filter.)I have two plastic filters that I no longer use.

Decided to replace old one with ss. Works flawlessly. Only downfall is a little harder to see debris build up compared to the white plastic ones. Cleans easier than the plastic ones

This trapper does it well but be sure to clean it with a tooth brush every few months.

Had to slightly modified to fit the housing didn't take much. Is working good

Took nearly 2 1/2 weeks to receive them. Even at that I got 1 then waited 5 more days for the other. Product itself is fantastic though. The stainless steel makes it super easy to clean.
