Lots of Repetition
There was lots of good and informative info on the annual marketing programs as well as a lot of great magazine ads and copy that brought back fond memories of both Dodge and Plymouth from the day. I got out university in 68 wanted a Road Runner but I had no money so I waited until late 69 and bought a new 70 Dart Swinger 340 { which means I was a Scat Pack guy}. However the problem in the book is a lot of the info on the mechanical aspect of the cars each year is repetitive as both makes had the same drivelines and they were fairly similar year over year. Also every single photo provided by Fiat/Chrysler {and there are a lot of them] had to give credit to the source every single time. Other than that I did enjoy the book and did learn some things I never knew.

Good memories of the cars and how the companies like ...
Good memories of the cars and how the companies like Chrysler really seemed to want you to own their products and how they went out of their way to make you a walking and driving billboard for the company. I wish we could see more of them today. I have some of the original ads hanging on the wall. The only part of the book I would change is the registered trademark statement that is at the end of almost every photo caption. It might save about a pint of ink per book.

Nothing new here
For the most part was an interesting read, but as I lived through it, there should have been much larger photos of some things and sometimes just the outside of something was shown, instead of all the pages. Just didn't meet my expectations.

I really enjoyed this one!
Neat and different. Never really seen many books that look at marketing and such with this much depth. Really cool spin on muscle car history!

Great Book
Good photos and interesting history...the marketing photos and background give a very good overview of what Dodge and Chrysler were up too in the late 60s early 70s....

Fun to look back on how MOPARS were advertised.
I enjoyed the nostalgia of the ad campaigns. I remember the Dodge Charger matador and bull car commercial.
