I used it for cheesecake first and it held the dough. But the dough was thick and i did not see any issues. When I tried to make crustless quiche, it leaked and I wasted some of my mixture. I thought i put it together correctly, I tried over and over and my husband also tried to re-assemble it. it still leaked. We are sending it back.

I received this item in the mail and right out of the box, the metal latch has sticky residue on it and looks used. See photo. This is not expected for a brand new product. Too much hassle to return so keeping it but leaving less stars due to this.

It works well. NOTE: This pan is too small for pressure cooker lasagna, I did not check the dimensions prior too buying. You need a 3 inch tall for lasagna.

I had success the first time I attempted making a cheesecake in this spring form pan with my Instant Pot. My family loved it served with native sliced strawberries. Yum! The size is just right too. Only a little leftover instead of half the cake! When I have made a cheesecake the "standard" way (bain marie) I always worried about it cracking. But in the instant pot it wasn't a worry. This pan basically ruined the dessert I was making. It did not seal and leaked my batter all over my counter and floor. I wound up making a late night run to the store for cheap aluminum pans that barely salvaged any semblance of a good cake.

This springform pan is perfect for use in the Instant Pot. It fit in both 6 and 8 quart pots. I made lasagne and cheesecakes without any difficulty. I would recommend this product.

When I first saw that they had included a card with a tip about using foil to prevent any leaks, I was dissapointed because I only bought this pan because the one I bought before leaked on me and ruined a couple things I was baking. But it turns out it was just a tip in case because mine didn’t leak at all. I don’t even care if it does leak now because I can just use the foil ring tip, I’m just pleased with the results since I expected the worse.

I have used the springform cake pan at least 5 times in the past month! It is very easy to use and clean up has been fast. It is the perfect size for a cheesecake that serves 6.
