The squirrels love it. The design allows the squirrels to access the peanuts easily. Magpies, pigeons, jays and other small birds love it too. If heavy squirrels try to feed themselves, the feeder moves because there is just one fixing point.

Only time will tell if it stand the rigours of wind and rain, the wood treatment barely seems adequate and the nails?!! Who knows?

Let's face it, it was cheap. Not that well made but still in one piece. The Squirrel has chewed some of it and it does need weather proofing. Because it will not last more than a year if not treated. Hey the squirrel likes sitting on the front flap and he is a big lad and it holds his weight.

Product arrived for delivery date.The product is good value for money and the feeder is used by all birds and squirrels.It comes with a hook so you can attach it where you want it put. I would to have secound hook at the bottom of the base , To give it more protection as the squirrels move feeder out of place.So I've attached a hook myself to make just alittle more sturdy.Over all pleased with item and looks good in the garden.

Relaxdays squirrel feeder... this product arrived I bought 3 and was absolutely delighted when I opened the box!!! So well made strong sturdy just perfect for all my little squirrels I have in my garden... I wish the company made nesting boxes I have 2 lots of baby squirrels born each year so will definitely be buying more to hang around the trees making sure they are all well fed... perfect for the job.. would highly recommend this product, worth every single penny great value for money 😀😀😀😀

It was okay

Having read all the negative reviews about the main design of squirrel feeder available in the UK (squirrels breaking the lid off and/or chewing through the clear plastic front) I thought I would give this a try. It has none of those problems. The squirrels can easily get at the contents and took to it immediately. I've even had the odd magpie sitting on it to steal the nuts!But the quality of this item leaves much to be desired. Ignore the GMbh printed on the wrapping. It may be supplied by a German company but in this instance its origin is no guarantee of quality. I seriously doubt that it was made there.As another reviewer has mentioned, the quality of the wood is poor. It is very lightweight and unfinished and I too had to sand down all the edges. The wooden parts are held together only by staples and on arrival the edging to the platform area was loose and I had to re-inforce this with screws.After a week, the feeder collapsed under the weight of a single squirrel. The screw holding the mounting bracket to the back of the feeder having failed because it is just far too small. I had already screwed a block of wood to the fence post under the feeder to make it more stable but this was obviously not enough.I have replaced the small screw supplied with a larger one and drilled a second hole through the metal to add a second. Hopefully this will now be safe but my fear is that the squirrels will have lost confidence in using it.I cannot fault the design concept but buyer beware; it is inexpensive for a reason and I would not recommend that you just start using it as-is without making a few modifications.

Bit flimsy and cant hold much food.
