KnitPro KP20422 3.5 mm Symfonie Interchangeable Special Circular Needles, Multi-Color

Unfortunately I didn't read these reviews before placing my order. These needles are too short for my requirements and I have had to return them. It's a pity the product description does not include a length as well as a size. Until these arrived, I didn't know different lengths were available.When I contacted the seller they said the length was described under product dimensions. It is not....They are not on free return either and the cost of returning is half the cost of the needles (way more than Royal Mail would be) so I've ended up keeping them but have no use for them

These are shorter than the normal ones, however I knew that before I bought them (it is not mentioned in the discription but I entered that in the search bar and those came up. And I read the reviews beforehand) and that's exactly what I was looking for. I'm currently knitting a lot of baby clothes and need to use a 40cm cable to work in the round. With the standard size I think it's quite awkward to get around properly and it annoys me. But the shorter ones are perfect for that. It makes the circle smoother. I also own the 4mm shorter ones which I did buy by accident as I was looking for the larger ones. I was annoyed at first and wanted to return them (especially since it was nowhere mentioned that it was the short ones) - but I kept them in the end and I do prefer and like them a lot.

... but that is exactly why I bought them, so I’m happy. I find these shorter tips work better with 40cm and 50cm cables.But, beware. If you want the longer interchangeables DON’T buy any that have ‘Special’ in the title description, because that basically translates to short.The photo (if I can upload it correctly) compares these tips with the standard length ones. The actual length of these special tips is about 3.25” - it seems to me the product sizing guide supplies the overall packaging dimensions, which imho is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard but there you go.Hopefully this helps anyone looking for standard length tips.Now I’ve covered length: I love the KnitPro Symfonie range in general. Pretty to look at, high quality and lovely to use. Never disappoints.

The knitting needles were ok, but they were not both 3mm. One was slightly bigger, not that it will make a big difference but that’s not the point.

I like the feel of knit pro needles.

I find that using circular knitting needles are a great help especially if you suffer from arthritis. I use them all the time even with flat knitting. The Symfonie system allows different lengths to be attached to any size of needle so perfect for most projects.

Lovely needles but not the length stated in the description! These are tiny! Only 8.5cm long, very difficult to work with. I’m sure there is an ‘economic’ reason but those missing 4cm make a heck of a difference! Back to my metal tips...Arrived fast, so that part is ok.

Have used them for many years and like them very much.
