Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Cream Formula Colour Hair Dye (Pillarbox Red)

So to preface this, my hair is on the lighter side with basically my roots being more sandy, I use lush daddyo shampoo and lush big shampoo, the Dye itself was simple to apply, while I believe it is meant to be applied by basically painting your hair, rubbing it in with gloved hands then brushing it through with a comb worked fine for me.I put foil on my head, luckily the weather was sunny so I sat in the back garden with it on for about 40 minutes, then rinsed with cold water. Blow dryed partially then left to dry further. The colour is pretty much what the promo pictures resemble, a slight shade more green than expected but I did not bleach my hair beforehand.It has been a week since I applied the dye and have washed twice with a colour last shampoo and conditioner, I can see it starting to fade in spots but the overall colour is very strong still, next time I know where to apply more evenly. Will probably last for another 5-6 washes before needing another dye.One issue I did have was that I left a small amount of dye on my lower neck by accident, this has caused a bit of swelling and peeling, completly my fault as I did not wash out fully but it is something to look out for.

This product is so easy to use, comes pre mixed so no need to use developer etc. there’s no horrible smell. The colour is amazing, obviously works best on pre lightened hair. Doesn’t cover greys though, but honestly the best colour I’ve had (pillar box red) and I’ve been colouring my hair for years

Best brand ever never trust another brand it washes out quiet quick but still amazing compared to other brands i love this most amazing colour does not disappoint just make sure you have enough dye for your whole head i made the mistake of ordering 1 instead of 2

Worked really well it looks exactly the same as the picture only issue was it didn’t last very long but it didn’t linger and leave my hair pink which is great gonna be using this again.

Great! I thought it would probably fade after a few weeks but its been ages and its still super bright. I would call it a permanent colour. Stains your floors though!!

I would use the product for n my hair colours last longer

I bought this after reading that it had a cool base however it looks more browny -red. Doesn't cover greys well.

My hair is short so I managed to get four goes from this dye. My natural hair colour is very dark, almost black, but I'm going grey (silver) mostly around the sides and front but this dye has taken well to my hair and it looks so much more fun than the grey! It gets attention that's for sure. I was stopped by a young women in the street "I love your hair". It's all natural, I said. She looked quizzically at me, "Unicorn?" "No" I said, "Smurf!" I love the colour so much it goes with most of my wardrobe I'm buying it again.I will say after the first couple of washes the colour does run a little, not much, but shampoo has a blue tint, but then that's it, and it's long lasting and bright. Love it!
