Effective - Wish I had gotten these sooner!
Effective. Really excited about these. Wish I had gotten them sooner. I'm only 3 years out of school, but have noticed that the volume settings on my computer have been creeping up. Hopefully the hearing loss is transient.Chose these b/c most of the other earplugs I looked at seemed to have an NRR ~12dB or were unrated. These noticeably cut down on the high pitched sounds of the suction and handpiece - So much so that I can no longer depend on my sense of hearing to tell if the drill is spinning fast enough, haha (We have a couple temperamental handpieces). But that is definitely a trade-off I'm willing to make. Unexpected side benefit: I feel more calm/relaxed while working - The high pitched sounds must have been overstimulating and making me feel amped up or something. No problems hearing people talking. I think I can actually hear my assistant's voice better b/c the other sounds are dampened.Comfortable enough (I haven't tried any others, so I have nothing for comparison). I leave them in all day. Ears can start to feel sore by the end of the day, but taking them out at lunch helps.I like the unobtrusive design of the safety lanyard, but there isn't enough space in the carrying case for it unless I squish the earplugs (taking it on/off the plugs is not that easy either and seems to also involve a lot squishing/deforming of the plugs). That doesn't seem like it would be very good for the earplugs, so I'll leave it off for now, until I can maybe find a roomier case.

It's ok
It doesn't fit well in my ear or the lanyard. It always falls off the lanyard and it is hard to put it back on. I am frustrated for the price I paid that it is not better quality. It is ok at best.I am not sure it's blocking the noise well enough either. I hope the product gets more improvements and gets it right.

Big
I like these. I just feel that they are a little difficult to place cause they're sort of big. Also my ears itch when I wear... Is that normal ?

Poor product quality. Broken before even get used.
I'm a dentist. I really need good ear plugs to protect my hearing. I was so excited to wear these ear plugs. When I just got it, I tried to attach the neck strap to the ear pieces but the blue caps at the end of the ear pieces came off loose easily. I tried to re-insert it, but it won't stay in place. I was so disappointed that I had to return it. The ear pieces are so flimsy. Poor quality for the price. I would not recommend to anyone. 3M reusable corded ear plugs are better in quality and pretty cheap. You just have to get used to it when communicating with patients.

Comfy, easy to clean, they work!
After reading the reviews I decided to buy these over “cheaper” ones. I’m sure glad I did. I am a Dental Assistant. I work with multiple doctors in a clinic. Each doc having their own technique. Some use the Isolite device, others go high volume suction and some low volume with rubber dam. Either way, it gets noisy. The loud vacuum, the drill and burring, the screaming patients (haha jk but seriously they are screaming inside), the music and the traffic in the clinic is all very loud. After a while I catch myself asking people to repeat themselves because I cannot bear with all the high pitched noises. I tried regular foam ones, but they aren’t a good long term idea. The foams get dirty and uncomfortable pretty fast. On top of that, they are very obvious. I ordered these and decided to give them a try. I tried them for the first time 3 days ago. My doctor was doing a crown prep and I figured it was a good time to try them. I barely/hardy heard the drill. I could hear my music and whenever my doctor communicated with me easily. Of course it wasn’t as loud as if I had nothing but I could hear them clearly. They were easy and small and not obvious. They have these tiny tabs attached for easy removal. They came with a metal twist tin to store them in, and even a neck cord to attach them to. They were easy to clean with a 2x2 and some alcohol. A few other assistants asked about them and they all want to give them a try. I would buy these again when my new ones get worn out. But these are a great buy. Super happy I found these.

Not as pictured
The lanyard is silicon, not threaded like the pictures, and are impossible to attach to the ear plugs. Disappointed because I would’ve bought a different brand if I had known the lanyard was useless. The ear plugs are also shaped differently than pictured.

Comfortable for all-day wear
Bought for my wife, a dental hygienist. She reported that they were comfortable to wear, and really cut down on the high frequencies of the cavitron ultrasonic, but was still able to hear patients and others in the office.

Dental ear plugs
They are hard to get the lanyard on. They reduce the high speed hand a lot. Still able to hear people talk with them in.
