SramRoad Supersuede Bar Tape

Never changed the bar tape myself and didn’t realise how easy it was. I have to admit I am a bit OCD so was worried it would take ages to get it out on. But it was so easy and straightforward. All done on my first try. I must admit it looked fantastic when it fist goes on but after a few bike rides it looks a bit dirty (I chose red) but it is comfy and sticks on well.

Good tape. Its sticky backed which I wasnt expecting, but thats fine, it went on just fine and looks great

Great length and the strip of sticky tape at the back is really helpful. Super soft feel.

I got the white for my white bike and it proved easy to fit after looking up the best method on you tube.

Its nice, comfortable, durable bar tapeNo problems with it, and no slippage during the wrapping due to the sticky back section.

Works very well for replacing worn out padding on buggy handles

This tape has a very soft yet grippy feel to it. Appropriately named supersuede. I have noticed many of the newer (2014+) road bikes seem to come with this kind of tape.Installation was very simple with an adhesive strip about a cm wide running down the center of the tape. This makes it much easier to install vs having the entire width covered with adhesive in case you need to unwind in order to tighten or improve a couple of wraps as you go. For that matter, you could very easily undo and re-use the tape if you were making braking or handle bar adjustments.

Great quality, nice feeling even without gloves.Color does not fade away with sun or friction from hands.A bit pricey but highly recommended.
