I bought this but ended up not installing it. Our system appears different and I am not sure which wires to connect. I decided to wait until someone else was here who could tell me which wires should be connected. The price was good, but the instructions weren’t clear enough for me.

This SS2 float switch is worth ever penny and then some. It is cheep insurance. If you have ever had to repaint or replace a celling from water leaking from your ac unit you know what I am talking about. This switch is installed right. Goes on the drain line from your unit. if the line stops draining the float switch shuts down the unit. Other switches install in the overflow pan. They don't shut off until the over flow pan is full. I tested this switch with my multi meter and it function properly. It has 6ft of wire coming out of switch. Which is plenty to reach to ac unit and hook up.

This float switch is made of good quality, easy to install, plenty of wire length.
