We adopted our boy last year at the age of 9. He's a big cat and over weight. We've really struggled finding a toy he'll play with. I love that there are options for him, he really likes the orange worm the best! He chases it around the house...which means I get exercise too!

Pretty much as title says. My boy went absolutely crazy for these. But they didn't last long with him. Feathers pulled out of one within minutes of playing. Superglued them back in, then they snapped in half. Orange "snake" was the next one I tried. A large patch of the orange was shortly ripped off along with the eyes, leaving just bare string. Went to another feather one, and the feathers broke. Not really a fault of the product, but just know if your cat plays hard, these don't last long. 3 destroyed in 3 days.

I've bought several of these because they are a "pretty good value" - they are not super durable.. they break easily so, be aware that you may need to replace. Compared to others, they do retract for storing and sturdy . Sturdy because they are not "flimsy" yet, they are not durable because they break easily.. it's not a contradiction. So - overall, I recommend if you understand they will last 1-2 months.

Was the cheapest one I saw, with lots of replacement attachments for it. But it is really flimsy, my cat managed to break it. I suppose if you’re careful and store it when not in use?? The extendable part snapped, gotta be careful and not sit on it or let your pet chew on it…

Cat loves this. The pole was not my cats favorite but he is picky about a lot of stuff. The toys also stoped connecting correctly because of his rough play style. Certainly got my monies worth. Cat loves the bird feathers and the wormies.

The wand was very flimsy and handle broke off after the second day. Aside from that, my cat goes insane for the feathers! Although half of the handle broke off, I can still use it by holding the part of the wand that is still attached. I would definitely give this a 1 star for durability but a 5 star for cat fun! It’s one of my cats favorite toys and the clear string helps the feathers flutter gracefully like a bird.

Not very sturdy. My cats loved to play with the toy but it broke within a week of having it.

Don’t get me wrong—it’s not that they break, it’s just that inevitably—and other brands do this too—the cord gets wrapped up so tightly around the pile that I can’t untie the knots. It gets progressively shorter and shorter until it’s not much of a fishing line at all. Having said that, the actual toy itself is plenty durable—even the feathers—and my second oldest boy cat (out of five) loves it so much he goes nuts when he sees it. And this may be the problem—I don’t just dangle it in front of him; I play with it the way Jackson Galaxy does on My Cat From Hell (yes, I’m a fangirl) ie literally running through the house with it and bouncing it around to look like a bug or whatever. Still, I wish the cord didn’t get permanently wound up.But I will definitely buy again; just wish I could get more than 2-3 months worth out of if.
