I was pleased to find this product because I’ve been looking for a good high quality Acerola powder. I love acerola for its high vitamin C content and have tried different various brands over the years, but none of them were freeze-dried. I know freeze-drying is the best method to preserve all the nutrients in the fruit, so I couldn’t wait to try this. The fact that it doesn’t contain any additives is a bonus! You can tell it’s the real deal and fresh because the color is vibrant and the flavor is strong. It’s tart yet slightly sweet. The flavor is actually pleasant, and it’s perfect in fruity smoothies. If I’m in a rush, I add it to some water or juice and stir it up well. It dissolves pretty well, considering it’s freeze-dried. With 56 servings per bag, this was well worth the price and is a high-quality product. It’s the best one I’ve tried so far.

Tried this out with just cold water, was palatable (at times) but definitely carries a strange aftertaste that needs it to be mixed with something else. Maybe a fruit smoothie shake or something like that, but don't try to do this by itself (I was hesitant but it was indicated on directions and decided to take a shot at it). As for health benefits, the vitamin C should be helpful in that immune-friendly dose (like 18% by volume, quite densely), just couple it with tastier ingredients.
