What an excellent book. I enjoy Bill Drummond's contemporary art as much as I enjoyed his music. Being obsessed with the Liverpool music scene the book has been a nostalgia trip and provoked much thinking. I wish I had the guts to do the crazy antics that Drummond has instigated (and still does) over the years. I'd love to read 'The Manual' but finding one without taking out a mortgage is impossible!

I lost my original copy of this many years ago so when my new copy arrived I was pleased to find it was as good a read as I remembered. I bought it to read on a trip to Iceland- and if you buy this, you too will find out why it's so apt for a trip to the frozen and mountainous island, and see why it inspired Bill Drummond as it has. It could do with a Kindle edition, if only to get more people reading it.
