Update:Took these out on a hike at my local state park after a particularly wet week. There were lots of puddles, mud, and lots of places to slip.Tested water resistance when I sank into a muddy puddle. My foot got wet, but dried quickly. The traction was good when we had to cross large puddles on wobbly fallen branches.My feet stayed cool throughout the whole hike! I was impressed, even when it was pretty hot and humid out.Overall, these shoes are everything I needed them to be; cool, comfortable, cute, and supportive of my ankles and feet.————Original:I’ve been on quite the hunt for a shoe that offered good ankle support, that’s breathable for the summer, and something at least semi-cute. In the world of hiking, cute is not in the manufacturer’s vocabulary… at least nothing that is reasonably affordable. I’m pleased that these check all those boxes.I ordered these in a half size larger and in wide since I read several reviews about these being tight all over. The half size and width make these very comfortable and allow me to add thick socks for wetter and colder seasons! So plus!Bought these for an upcoming camping trip where there will be light hiking, but being pregnant, I need breathable shoes for the humid Texas heat. Haven’t had a chance to test them out yet, but will update me them after I get a chance to put them to the test.It’s worth noting that the rim of the ankles are stiff and does need to be broken in. Even with tall socks, they are rubbing.

I'm usually a 7.5 wide in New Balance shoes, and was nervous based on reviews to order my true size. I did order 7.5 wide, and they fit perfectly!! These shoes are light weight, comfortable, and pretty! I'm really excited to get out on the trail in them! The brown shoe is a grayish-brown, but looks true to color from the photo to me.Very happy with another pair of New Balance shoes!!

I have size 5, wide, flat feet. I have been having a horrible time finding an ankle boot/shoe that is comfortable for my upcoming trip to Europe. I've tried Keens, Orthofeet, and a few other ones all of which I have had to return because they just weren't comfortable or didn't fit right, or there was too much/not enough of an arch, slipped in the heel. I even went to the good feet store.I have been breaking these in and my are tired because I'm out of shape but they are really supportive and and feel great. One of them rubs on my ankle some but it's probably because I need a knee replacement I'm a little bit out of alignment as the other one doesn't do that and I already had that one done.They not only feel great they look great, super cute, it's more of a hiking shoe than a boot but honestly I'm so glad I saw a review on these and will also be ordering a low top pair as well. Worth every penny.

Wanted to try something different and needed ankle support and good grip.. I am a big woman with bad ankles.. and do a lot of walking on all terrains.. cushion is good just should have bought a half size smaller. Just have to wear thicker socks ..

I've started calling this the unicorn shoe, because it is the only shoe I have found anywhere with hours of searching that is suitable to go running in snow and comes in extra wide. I run year round and plain wides don't work for me most of the time. I am tired of wasting money buying "wide" shoes that feel OK when tried on but cause awful foot pain after actually using them. Since there's snow a good chunk of the year where I live, I bought 3 pairs of these and might stock up more. Now if only someone made an XXW.

When I received these shoes someone already wore them even the bag that they came in was inside the box which is absolutely ridiculous the shoes are uncomfortable do not fit like they say they do a eight and a half fits like a seven and a half obviously they're from China. But to get a pair of shoes that are supposed to be new that have been worn by somebody else and then sent to me is absolutely ridiculous.

I liked the look of these shoes, but they were very uncomfortable. The toe box was tight and inflexible. Loosening the laces didn’t help. They’re a great concept but fall far short

I am usually a size 8. This fits exactly. I had been searching for the perfect trail boot. I have a lot of issue with my feet and a lot of circulation issues. The boots are weather proof and keep my feet dry in wet weather. They’re great on the trails. I am constantly on the trails daily and walking with my dogs! The grip is amazing! No breaking in needed. They’re comfortable and give support to my ankle! The design and fit is just what I needed! They are my go tos! New balance knocked it out of the oark! They live up to their name

I ordered these for my wife. I ordered UK size 7.5 and was sent US size 7.5 which equates to a UK size 5.5! They will be returned.They looked smart and hard wearing and in the correct size I think they would have been superb.

Der Schuh ist gut. War mir aber zu klein. Die Rücksendung nach ITALIEN hat fast 20 Euro gekostet. Ich bin entsetzt! Also bitte aufpassen beim bestellen!
