the camera quality is sub par. i regret buying this. i really do.
after about 2 weeks of waiting, I finally got the microscope delivered. Everything is intact and new. my only problem is that the 'strange view' USB camera it came with attaches only to the 2x extender lens. How do we then attach the 10x and 25x eyepiece to the USB camera if we have to use these? The size doesn't fit. The 10x and 25x lenses can be attached to the 2x extender but can't be attached to the camera. the camera quality is extremely poor. if the seller one day reads this, could you please help?

An Awesome Educational Tool
I have four children in varying grades, and they've all been learning about biological structures down to the molecular level. So it would be amazing to get a microscope that offered a very high level of magnification so that they could see the details of some of the things they're learning in school. While I wish this was a digital microscope with a screen output, I am thoroughly impressed with the set and the level of magnification that this microscope provides. Since you can connect a mobile phone to it and use the phone camera to record through the eyepiece, I'm extremely satisfied with this microscope's quality. The coolest thing about it is that for some time now, I have suspected that I have a systemic Candida infection, and it was awesome because I was able to view the Candida albicans under the microscope and compare that with pictures that I found online to confirm that I do indeed have a systemic issue. The phone mount was a bit tricky to get stabilized and properly focused on the IPS, and since the phone mount is just a suction-based mount, you have to remove any case you have mounted on your phone. Aside from that, we've had a lot of fun playing with different specimen samples under the microscope and learning all about microbes. It's been quite an amazing educational experience for my children!
