Replaces pen and paper
Use this device at work now we're attending more in person meetings. What i liked about this make was ability to sync to other apps, add apps to device and of course the great feel of writing.

This is the device to buy
If you're looking at this device, you've probably also looked at the similar alternatives. Here are the key points that make me believe I have bought the right product.Full AndroidSo this device CAN be used for your Kindke books, as well as all other alternative sources of ebooks (incl. a range of free books offered by Boox). You can also add apps that allow you to borrow ebooks from your local library.Offline Handwriting RecognitionIt works amazingly well - but there's a trickyish learning curve required to get used to the Menu Bar.Free Cloud StorageOthers offer only a Paid Subscription service. The Android system also allows me to use Google Drive & Google Docs (free Cloud storage),and the handwriting conversion works perfectly well on that too.Pen CompatibilityMost (non-Apple) styluses will work with this, including the ones that have a built-in button (which the included pen lacks). But thanks to the BRILLIANT option to simply scribble-out errors to remove them, you probably won't need a stylus with a button.I use a button-free Staedtler Stylus with no problem, and 90% of my usage of this device is driven by my Handwriting.Build QualityExcellent. It's a premium device, and a joy to hold in your hand.As such, I ordered an Ali Express cover PDQ, as Amazon don't offer the free origami cover that Boox do on their website. But I think I'm happier with my cheapo £25 Ali Express cover than I would be with the alternatives.IlluminationNot all alternatives offer a built in back-lightBattery LifeVery very very good - but not quite as good as some of the YouTube reviews suggest.I think the reason may be that although I use it mostly in daylight, I still need to add some illumination for living room use.Storage64gb is fine for my purposes, but the option of a Micro SD Card slot is great to have as well - eg: I may wan't to play Bluetooth music if I'm using it in a beach.Infinite PagesIf you select 'Text' when creating a new page, you can just write, and write and write...(but if you want to draw/scribble/highlight etc, those will be separated by page boundaries)This is the device I've been waiting for.I won't ask it to replace my colour-screen Android tablet, that has it's purpose for doing things that I wouldn't expect this one to do well. But for those like me, who want an intelligent notebook, that I can use in bright daylight, as an ereader too (& music player), that doesn't thieve any ongoing subscription out of me, that has an incredible battery... this is the one.

Best E-Ink Tablet in the Market
The product was excellent! I really enjoyed using the tablet; it was even better quality than Remarkable Brands, which says it is good!I mainly use the tablet for reading Kindle books and using the note features. To my surprise, the writing is so smooth. There is no finger or palm detection when writing, and it writes exactly how you write on paper. The only downside is that the pen itself does not have an eraser feature like remarkable does. Apart from that, the Boox tablet can save notes onto the drive like OneDrive, which I normally use. I can print and use the notes as my reference. The charger was impeccable. I bought this tablet in February 2024. To my surprise, it can last for at least 3-4 months, depending on how often you use it. I don't use it regularly, mainly for 1-2 hours per day to read books. The battery is long-lasting, and it was the best investment I made in an e-ink tablet just to do exactly what it says.I'm not really bothered whether it is coloured or just plain black or white, but you can watch YouTube videos and browse the web even though it is not coloured. The sound quality is very good. I can almost listen to my music on the tablet.I definitely recommend this tablet to students and anyone else who wants to use it as a diary or notetaking device. It is better than remarkable. DO NOT GET REMARKABLE! Get this tablet!

Love it. Soon becomes easy to understand.
I have a scribe, which I love. It's a superb reader, and writing on it is easy, but at present the options for that are limited, so I decided, after watching a few utube videos to go for the black and white version of the Boox. At first glance it looked overwhelming with the myriad of options there are, but in actual fact after about an hour I'd got my head round it and realsised it's actually quite easy. to use and a lot of fun. The reading experience isn't quite as good as the Scribe ( I doubt if there's a reader to match that,) but you won't notice any perceptible difference in normal day to day use. I love writing on this device and after owning it for two days I've got all sorts of documents and notebooks under way. In the settings there's a very useful manual which will help you get your head round it, but with a bit of thought most of it is common sense anyway. I'm really glad I bought it.

Great device let down by a poor stylus
Note Air3 is a great device, which is superior to Air3C in my opinion because of higher contrast - if only you've included better stylus!

Love it
Lovely experience. Great for reading and writing. I own a Kindle scribe, but this is so much more. I actually bought it to read kindle magazines, because these are displayed so poorly on scribe as they are limited to just kindle viewing format. However, on BOOX, you can view in kindle reading mode or full magazine mode. The latter is so valuable and for some reason not available on the large kindle.Beyond that, it has amazing hardware and I love the android OS.
