Didn't do quite what I wanted.
First of all, it was somewhat larger than expected. The build quality is fine, with a simple physical selector switch on top used to select the appropriate input. My main criticism is that it didn't work for one of my inputs - namely, an optical out which came from a hdmi switcher. All other inputs direct from the source (e. g. xbox 360, ps3 etc.) did work as expected, however.
