Works well on medium hair. I have brown hair. Like milk chocolate pudding color not super light. But not super dark. I had previously dyed my hair with same brand but slightly different color. The first box made a big difference in color in sun can see all the color. Out of the sun the just a dark variation. What I wanted. Fun in the sun professional inside the first box which I would also give a five star fade out with 3-4 week. They I used fruit of the forest. Went down well slowly fade. Bleeding out in the shower a couple weeks. Which red do that. Not a biggie. But now the washing out has stopped my roots are growing in and the burgendy color has faded but is still noticeable in the sun. I'm gonna redye. Another slightly different color. But was very happy with the results and how long it had lasted.

This color is great! Covered my grays. It’s a dark purple. More to the warm side than cool side of purple. I saw several people saying it’s too dark, or it’s just black. But I didn’t have that experience. My hair was light/medium brown to start. I love this color. Will be a go to for a while. Attached pics of it in the shade and in the sun so you can see the difference in the light play on the color.

This brand/shade isn't common at my local grocery store so I was never able to see the shade and buying hair dye through Amazon didn't seem like a great idea because of all the bad reviews but I decided to give it a try as tomorrow I have a cookout. I'm freaking happy about this shade. It is truly a chocolate brown, it seemed more like light brown based on the image but seeing the reviews made me realize there is a red/orange undertone so I might get a chocolate brown, right? And yes I did! 😍 Don't hesitant about the bright orange color when you mix/first apply, it will turn dark when you let it sit. I did use a bag and used the dryer to make everything hot for a couple of minutes then just let it work it's magic. The photos don't do justice but here's my result and I'm in love.

Worked better than I thought way to brite on me

This color is beautiful! My daughter had been using Arctic Fox temporary color for a little longer than a year and her hair was getting very very damaged, even though that type of color is not supposed to do that. We started using this about a year ago, and her hair has recovered completely! It is definitely healthy and shiny with no breaking or split ends like the other color was doing. It is a totally different experience, looking healthier right away. The color stays in for a long time, and only gradually fades, but never looks bad doing so. We are very happy that we switched!!

I knew going in it would not dye my hair like the box showed without bleaching so it mainly dyes grey and turns scalp purple. Since it gave my shower a tint and not much tint to my hair I probably would not use again unless hair was liqhtened
