The Luigi’s Mansion Lab & Poltergust Expansion Set is an add on for either the Super Manio or Luigi base sets, it fits on both but works better with the Luigi one as it fits the same theme (and the Poltergust backpack looks better on Luigi).Professor E. Gadd is the main star of this pack, featuring heavily in the game as the inventor of the poltergust and tools needed to trap the ghosts, plus you get a gold ghost included.In a similar vein to Ghostbusters, the vacuum on Luigi's back hoovers up the ghosts by tipping luigi forward. Then you go to the machine in the lab and get coins as a reward, which will show up on Luigi's chest, just as in the starter pack.When first built, this set does look small and this means it's easy to build (younger builders will find the app easier to use than paper instructions) but it's deceptive as there's a lot to do here from the air vent to the potions and, of course, the poltergust machine itself.

You can get coins from the lab and refresh your health! Once you reach the final post your coin count will show.This set is real simple to build, it is not overly massive compared to the other sets and the price reflects that. But fun none the less, and we all love Mario, the memories of N64 and add in Lego, perfect.Overall I'd recommend this set if you already have parts of Luigis Mansion. If not, it'll still be fun with other Mario sets.

Another set added to my son collection. Cant go wrong with Lego

This set is an expansion and you will need either Mario or Luigi to get the most out of this set and play the game. It also does not come with any paper instructions so you will need the Mario Lego App to do the build (and play the game) If you do not get on particularly well with the app instructions you can go to the Lego Instructions App and download a PDF (old school style) instruction set there.This set is brilliant fun with the vacuum cleaner that attaches to your main character not only able to be used on this set but also all the ghosts in the Luigi's mansion sets. Along with the vacuum you also have a crazy proff Gladd and a coin level up in his lab. It is a bit of a small set but you are basically buying it for the vacuum which can also be used in the other expansions from the Luigi's Mansion sets. Priced about right at twenty quid and as always with lego the designs, quality and ideas for play are right up there!

I didn't realise this was an expansion set but that simply means we will have to but the starter set and begin this new collection. It is well made as always and LEGO is a great way for young and old to spend time building and playing together.Unlike other kits, this requires you to get the instructions on the app but it seems simple enough to follow as the booklets are. I like that it is Mario themed and any fan - new or old of Super Mario will recognise some familiar faces and enjoy the 'game' that LEGO have created with these sets. In this set you get to build Professor E. Gadd and a Gold Ghost and allows you to collect coins while battling ghosts in the lab.As always with LEGO , a huge hit in our house and we can't wait to get the starter kit to begin our Super Mario LEGO adventures.

We have a few Super Mario Lego sets and we were really happy to receive another one. I got this for my kids who love both Lego and Mario. The sets don't come with build instructions, you have to download the app. You make a 'board' game with the sets, starting with the starter set.The mansion expansion set is brilliant. It comes with the Ghost figure from the Switch game. It's not overly simplistic to build, but the app breaks it down brilliantly. It's interactive and so lets you collect coins along the way. The app also lets you save what sets you have, so you can keep adding to and building up the size. Overall quite happy as it includes lovely sound effects, and is fun and a good learning experience for the kids. It kept two of mine busy for a few hours as they are Mario and Luigi fans.
