After only being used a couple of times it malfunctioned and cooked the battery resulting in gassing and escape of acid onto the top of the battery and into the battery box.The suppliers stated it was because of "liquid ingress" when they inspected it. Nothing had ever been spilled onto it and very unlikely it was condensation as the garage is insulated and heated and the charger was sited away from the car. Lucky I didn't lose the car and garage as it was still on bulk charge and probably had been since it was last checked over a week ago.Now down a £150 new battery and no recompense on the cost of the charger. The 2 year warranty only appears to be effective if it doesn't go wrong....

For long term charging of a classic car battery. This is a brilliant piece of kit that will charge at the correct rate with no danger of overcharging.

Used this on and old battery, charged in 10 minutes = battery bad...Used on a new battery charged in 2 hours - battery good...Does what it says and is simple - extras include a motorcycle charge lead for on bike charging- very useful if you take it off the road over winter!

Does the job well. Charged car battery up from fairly flat and the maintained trickle charge as advertised so very happy.

You can leave the cable attached to your motorbike and re connect every winter. Does a slow charge in the winter to get your battery tip top condition and then trickle feeds when you need it. It is the best charger I have used for motorbikes

Purchased for my new bike battery, but will also charge larger batteries. Simple, quality, and good leads. Seems to work well and would recomend.

Working just as it said it would charged my nearly flat battery on my bike to like new!
