Fantastic tool for artists
Have had the pleasure of using this pen for quite a while now and I'm consistently impressed by its performance. Its simply a fantastic tool for artists a calligraphers alike.Design--------The pen is sleek and minimalistic, the black barrel gives a sense of professionalism. Build quality is excellent and feels sturdyInk flow--------I think what sets this pen apart from others is the ink flow and control. The wide brush tip allows for a wider range of line thickness, making it extremely versatile for various artistic styles. I usually do delicate lines, but for people who want to use it for bold expressive strokes, this works just as well.Ink quality--------The black ink here is a true black color, its water resistant and does not fade over time.Cost-------One of the best quality of this pen is that its refillable. This not only makes it more environmentally friendly but also extremely cost effective. The ink catridges are easy to replace and lasts a long timeIn summary, this Pentel pen is a reliable, versatile, and cost effective tool for professionals and hobbyists. It has great ink flow, a versatile brush tip, and rich black ink. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their next project, no matter if you're a seasoned professional or just someone who loves to doodle.

A brush that doesn't need to be dipped
This brush pen arrived in appropriate packaging. It requires one-time 'activation' by physically twisting the midsection which opens the interior ink reservoir (the instructions for doing so are on the packaging). The quality is excellent: the brush hairs are stiff and the ink flows properly. Also, the ink is jet black and consistent. Overall an outstanding tool and value. May I become an artist worthy of it.

Works excellently.
I think this is an amazing brush pen. The plastic brush tip is both absorbent of the ink and stiff enough to not lose shape after a few uses. If I had one complaint it would be that sometimes getting ink onto the pen can be a bit difficult, the way you refill this pens brush is by squeezing the ink well at the top, however, if you squeeze too hard your pen will be practically dripping with ink which makes it difficult to make finer lines, however if you squeeze to little nothing will change, it becomes a bit difficult to balance the two extremes.

Fun
Fun little pen, lots of ink.

excellent 'pen brush' to carry with you
I use it for lettering; because I've had a couple Pentel pen brushes before, I was not concerned that thebrush takes a bit of time/patience/water to prime it and use it. Living in a very, very dry climate in the SWmeans a drop of water now and again to keep it flowing. It produces a wide range of marks, with the brush reforming to a point.

I love this pen
I love this pen. The thing I wasn't expecting about it (but doesn't bother me in the long run actually) is that the casing part of the pen is a soft plastic that can be squeezed. I assume this is so that you can prime ink down into the brush part. Having a pre-loaded ink brush with a cap is a must for any ink artist on the go. I've never had it leak on me, and I even had it on an airplane. It is technically not refillable, though I do refill mine by prying it open every once in a while and pouring india ink into it.

Works well with Copic markers!
Love love love love this brush. The line quality you can achieve with this brush is AMAZING. The ink is nice and black. Controlling the amount of ink through squeezing the body is easy enough to get the hang of. The Pentel Aquash Water Brushes have the same amazing line quality as this one does. Amazing products. If you use Copic markers, this is a great brush to get because the ink doesn't run or smear from the alcohol ink. It's my new favorite inking pen. :)

I love this pen
This pen, if used correctly, acts exactly like a brush. It gets dry, and you squeeze it to add more ink. It is a beautiful brush pen. Not for someone who likes consistent lines though.

Versatile and great brush pen
These are great. I love that you get two of them. A great alternative for lining watercolour paintings or other artwork. Plus once the ink runs out you can mix in water to make greywashes and paint with them. Super versatile. I also recommend the pocket brush, especially if you prefer darker lines with more consistent ink and want something a bit smaller.

Five Stars
Real good elasticity of the tip

A splash of grey
I bought this as an alternative to a discontinued brush pen that had a slightly darker colour. A decent replacement, but not quite dark enough for an ink wash.

Me encanta
Me encanta usarlos, pero se acaban demasiado rápido. Hay turoriales en Youtube de como rellenarlos con tinta china, los recomiendo.
