I purchased this item on a very tight budget, so was concerned it might not be up to scratch. My use for this cable was to run a cable from my Internet Router, out through a hole in the front of my house, around the side of my house and through another hole in the wall at the back of the house upstairs to feed internet to my home office.Had no issues with the cable whatsoever. Most of it is outside, but I am not receiving any sort of obvious drop in signal or interference, network speed is good, even in bad weather, and I am very glad for this product.

Great for putting around the outside of the house if its an older house and doesn't have ethernet in the walls of the house. If you dont want the mess, then use this and just make sure its neatly done when its tagged to the brick work. Cat 6 id future proof and will give you up to 10gb connections in the future, so worth paying for this over Cat 5. Have internet in every room in the house and to an external building too.

Bought to extend my ethernet to my bar.So far it all works well.Will see overtime how it deals with the elements as run externally

Purchased May 2023. BT Internet max 65Mbs, worked fine, hence the 5 stars for Durability, Value for Money and Sturdiness. Upgraded to Virgin fibre 1Gbs and it tops out at 100Mbs. Plugged laptop direct into router - router is fine, checked RJ45's on cable fine, checked cables all wired correctly - cable tester. Summary, max 100Mbs cable.Revised :-As above problem with the cable, customer services have been great and put it down as a faulty cable. Had another reel and all okay on that one.

Used this cable to run direct from the Wifi router in the loft of my bungalow to a garden office, a good 70m run. The cable was flexible and easy to connect to the RJ45 connectors on each end. I now have 150+ mbs internet speeds in my office.

Bought to hard wire router to remote workstation as have gigabit FTTP. Tested the cable on arrival and was only able to achieve transfer rates of sub 100 Mbps (Cat 5 standard), the wi-fi is faster.Do not buy.

Ich durfte das Kabel im Rahmen des Vineprogramms kostenlos testen und bin absolut zufrieden. Zugegeben, was soll bei einem LAN Kabel auch nicht passen? Die Qualität ist aber definitiv prima, das Kabel hat eine gute Flexibilität und die Stecker lassen sich unproblematisch crimpen. Was will man mehr?
