Very good case, good fan, good customer service
I purchased this case because I wanted the cooling provided by the fan. During normal operation running Octoprint, my Pi 3 B+ was running in the very high 50s/low 60s Celsius. After installing, the normal operation temp is very high 30s/low 40s. So I think mission was accomplished.I had a little trouble installing the fan, but that was entirely user error (or as I like to say--a loose nut at the controls). I overlooked the proper screws that were provided for this purpose, and was trying to install with shorter screws that were intended to mount the Pi on the bed of the case. I wrote an email to the company's customer service. Right after sending the email, I discovered and used the proper screws. The fan installation was seamless at that point. However, I have to say that I received an email back from customer service very quickly, and that was on a weekend. Good customer service! Some have commented that the fan was a little noisy at the higher speed. I have not found this to be true for me. Others have suggested that it would be nice to have visibility to the Pi's lights. I would agree with this. To me, the case would be enhanced by offering it in a clear version.Overall, completely satisfied, and the price was great.

Very well made and looks great
First off this thing does take a bit of time to figure out how it all goes together with the pi. I did have an issue where the heatsink sitting on the ethernet controller got in the way of the case. I had to move it so that it doesn't sit square on the controller but no problem. I thought the fan was going to be loud as the smaller the fan is the louder it will be but this fan even as the high speed mode I couldn't hear it. So it might as well be on the high speed mode.

Nice case, easy enough to put together, fans are silent
The most difficult parts of this case are understanding the very basic instructions, and getting the protective paper off the pieces. I put two cases together in a row in the span of about an hour. For the second case, once the paper was peeled off, I got it done in about 15 minutes. I would say the peeling alone took at least 35-40 minutes for both cases, but I'm not good with little pieces and I have no fingernail to pry it up with, so take that as you will. Still, though, it's actually very easy to put together once you understand the directions (which are exclusively in the Amazon description).I have one of the fans connected in "quiet" mode (on the 3V pin) and the other in normal mode (on the 5V pin) and I can't hear either. I had to shine a flashlight in to check if they were even spinning.I installed the ceramic heat sink provided on one of my CPUs, but the other already has a regular one. I installed the copper heat sinks on both Pis. I bought these cases mostly for the fans because my Raspberry Pi tends to run too warm; I could even feel it just by touching my old case. I have no indication these will not be an excellent solution, but if they don't work for some reason I will definitely update my review.Update: I run a python script to monitor my Pis temperatures. Prior to these cases/fans, my most-used Pi was averaging 144.5 (62.54 C) degrees, with some spikes over 167 (75 C). Since switching to these cases, the average has dropped to 105 (40.8 C) with no spikes. Very pleased with these results.2nd Update: The fans have become quite loud thanks to vibration, it seems. I'm going to switch the pins to quiet mode as the cooling is more than sufficient and I plan to tighten up all of the case screws to see if they came loose. Not sure what's going on here, may just be that it's been on 24/7 since I got it.

Raspberry Pi 3B+ Case - It's a case alright!
I purchased this kit to replace the existing case on my Raspberry Pi because the fan in that old one was buzzing every so often and some of the screws which held that old case together had gotten stripped out and one of them was being held in the case with clear tape (just so I didn't loose it.)This case went together quickly and easily. I also took the opportunity to use the heatsinks which came with this kit to replace those already on the device and this one came with a small flat heatsink I didn't have previously. That one goes on the underside of the Raspberry Pi, at least on the 3B+ model, on the chip there. The case itself comes in three sections. A bottom section the Raspberry Pi board itself goes into and gets screwed down onto, a middle section which goes on top of the board but which provides access to the sections of the board you can plug things into and then the top which is vented and which the fan gets screwed into. The sections snap into each other and aren't held together with screws, but they are secure. The fan is quiet and keeping my unit cool! My Raspberry Pi is on 24/7 as it serves as the DNS server and network controller for my home network (PiHole + Unifi Controller) so keeping it cool and running is a top priority for me. Regarding the fan, for mine I plugged it in using pins shown in the second picture and outlined in green in the third picture. This is the way I had it on my old case and they work well. The picture on Amazon shows different pins to connect to and from the pinout picture attached here they should work as well, but I went with what worked for me previously. You can see my Pi in the first picture sitting behind some other equipment plugged into my network (on the top of the picture) and power) on the bottom right.)Hope this review helps someone else. I'd definitely recommend this case!

Matches expectations
I had an old case without fan. The temps varied between 54 - 62 degrees. Now the temperature rarely crosses 50 degrees.

Great to be able to enhance the basic or absent packaging.
I gave it a 4 for installation as you do need to be a little of a self-starter or somewhat resourceful. But I enjoyed putting it all together. Works great. Would recommend it to anyone -- especially for the price !

Excelente kit de protección
Excelente kit.
