A tale of quality customer service
(Edit) You will see from earlier review that the quality of the product I initially received was a bit underwhelming. However, the company reached out to me to understand what exactly was happening. Come to find out, it was likely a one-off QA issue. Their customer service was incredible, took time to learn about what could be improved, and seemed really invested in creating the best toys and experiences for pet and their humans. This interaction really turned my opinion around. I would certainly buy a product from them again because of their outreach.(Original)If you need something inexpensive and quick to entertain a new dog, this is a great option. However, if you are looking for a product that will give your dog even a small challenge, steer clear. I have a 3 1/2 month old puppy and if he even bumps this toy they compartments shift and expose the treats. When I have had quality brain games for my dogs in the past, it took some deliberate effort on the pets part to open a compartment and be rewarded. Shame it isn’t more than a flimsy toy with no real challenge.

So-so - the locking mechanism is finicky and hard for our border collie to grok.
The white top sliders are way too easy for our border collie. She loves them, but it's bing-bang-boom and she's done. The red sliders around the middle are also pretty easy for her if they're unlocked. However, the outer white sliders that lock the red sliders in the middle - she does not understand those at all. Honestly, sometimes I cannot get them to lock/unlock and I have thumbs.Overall, I have mixed feelings about this toy. We'll keep trying with the outer sliders, but for now, it's a so-so toy.Honestly, so far I prefer the toys where the cause and effect are more obvious like the "tornado" where you remove bone pieces from the top to make it spin.

Dog puzzle
This puzzle is sturdy and well built. My dog is blind so I removed the stop tabs on the side. She can't see to release them and allow the circle to rotate. She looks forward to puzzle time.

Decent Toy
The animals were really interested in the MateeyLife Interactive Dog Puzzle Toys for Boredom. There are two levels of difficulty: the knobs and inner wheel easily move around with a nudge, and you can also move the handles in to lock parts of the inner wheel. I think that locking the wheel may be a bit difficult for animals to understand…it took me a few moments to figure out why the inner wheel wasn’t moving. The holes in the parts mean the animals can smell the treats therein and are encouraged to keep trying to get them. The parts move smoothly. They mostly got level one easily enough, I am not sure I’ll try level two because I think it’ll just frustrate them.

Challenging puzzle, wish the pockets were deeper.
I have a Lab/Heeler mix dog. If he is unable to go outside and explore until he is exhausted, he gets bored. So, I try products like these to try and stimulate his mind during indoor times. This is a little smaller than I expected, but it still offered him about a half-hour of stimulation time. You can move each of the center red sliders and all the white coin shaped pieces. The white handles on the outside slide in and activate little lock tabs to the red sliders, to offer a bit more challenge. I filled this with my dog's favorite treats and let him at it, he had a blast as he snuffled through and figured out each puzzle easily. My only complaints about this are:1. The size of the toy is doable but could be a bit larger for bigger dogs. My dog was able to get everything out of the toy, but he had to work pretty hard to get his tongue into the little pockets. It will definitely slow down a scarfing dog if that is your goal with it though.2. The pockets are not very deep, I had to break up his treats to be able to fit underneath the sliders. I doubt his kibble would be able to fit, since the kibbles are pretty thick.3. There are no suction cups to hold this in place, there are little rubber pieces on the bottom, but the item weighs so little that they are rendered pretty useless.Outside of those little issues, the product is functional and effective. Just make sure you always supervise your dog when they use this toy. It is made of hard plastic, which can cause problems if somehow ingested.

Not just for dogs
The media could not be loaded. Cats need enrichment too. This is a great puzzle toy for my cat! He's highly food motivated and has a lot of energy. This was my first time introducing it to him and he caught on pretty quickly. It keeps him busy for quite a while. I like to rotate his puzzles so he doesn't get bored.

Genius
The media could not be loaded. Husky’s get bored easily. This is absolutely genius.

puzzle fun for pups!
Our big Doodle is a quick learner, so was able to get "the hang" of this puzzle right away. It did make her take slightly longer to get the last of her meal eaten, which is a good thing. The little treat holders are quite small - we had to break some of the bigger ones to get them to close.
