It is what it is...
Pro - Product is exactly as advertised. An inexpensive blow up globe. I bought this so my son (4mths)could rough house with it and get an entry level understanding of Geography. We also use it as a 'tummy time exercise ball'.I let it air out first and then cleaned it off with an alcohol swab. There are no rough edges, and my son would have toreally work hard to get the 'blow-up' plug out and work even harder to chew it off.Con - I can imagine that those who wear reading glasses or have a hard time seeing small print along with the color schemewould struggle with this product. I would say the font is roughly 6pt to 8pt.Overall, for a $1.50 , you really have nothing to lose :p

Educational fun but it's a piece of junk that is poorly made.
My toddler is very interested in the world, since we have friends from other countries who have visited, and her aunt lives in Australia. She's going to be receiving this as a gift, and I honestly can't wait for her to enjoy it. It looks just as cool in person as in the photos.Update: We inflated the ball 4 or 5 times just since December (it's April,) and it continues to deflate almost daily. It is clearly poorly made and leaking air. I am so disappointed! What a waste of money and effort!

Looks like photo, but leaks
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but this thing leaks air like crazy; about a half hour after inflating it it was noticably deflated. It's cheap and it'll work for what I needed, but if you're looking for something durable this isn't it.

Not awesome
I wasn't expecting a whole lot for a super cheap inflatable globe. (It cost less than the shipping did)However, it's not even as pictured. The colors are all dark and ugly (Brown, purple, and dark green) except for the countries that are inconveniently the same shade of light blue as the water. That may be fine for some landlocked countries that are not lake-shaped, but Libya and Hawaii don't work out so well that way.Seams cut off edges of some regions. "I didn't know the eastern coast of Australia was perfectly straight like that!"Top and bottom sections of the globe are separate plastic patches, with no printing on them, so the poles are not shown. So, you get what you pay for. I was kind of disappointed, but the price isn't worth the effort of making a return. It was shipped very quickly by Blockbuster Costumes.Instead of being used as a semi-educational toy, at least it can be played with as an inflatable ball. And really, I don't expect it to last long, a good bump will probably pop a seam.So if you want something to be used as a globe, I would recommend looking at other options.

Just what I needed for my geospatial software project
So geospatial software is extremely trendy right now, and I've been working on a Big Data project where we use polygons to locate points on the earth. As a visual aid, this globe-like object is helpful, as it is actually sectioned, not spherical. It does not resemble the photograph, but is lessdetailed and more brightly colored. And the price was very right. I'm not sure that it would make a sturdy longlasting toy for a child.

My son still liked it though
OMG haha this ball is such a disaster. It's so lopsided, definitely not remotely a round ball. My son still liked it though, and we sort of loved it too because of how awful it is.But it was a Christmas present and it didn't survive four months of toddler-treatment before it developed a hole. Oh well.

Easily transported globe
I used to carry one of these with me all the time when I was in Iraq. It's a quick, easy way to show people from other countries where you are from and where they are from or where we are. It always drew a crowd as they got a quick geograpy lesson. This globe seems more durable than others I've had but I wouldn't use it for soccer or volleyball.

Nice concept not so well executed
Nice concept not so well executed, it is a nice ball that I use to teach my toddler some geography will playing but it is not round it has a big bump (Maybe they can blame the earth, after all is not completely round lol)After a few months of use it is still inflated and haven't lose a lot of air.
