Sloping dog car cage with escape hatch GYC04

This is a brilliant dog cage for my Smax. With the 3 rd row of seats down, the cage takes up exactly half of the available boot space leaving room for storage/bags too. In fact we could have one of the rear seats up if we wanted to, so 6 seats and a dog cage but no storage. The cage is roomy, we are about to get a Labrador puppy, hoping this will still be suitable for when he is fully grown! Cage appears to be well made, secure, two doors, front and back (not side) and has a tray that can slide out the bottom for cleaning if need be. Overall I'm delighted with my purchase.

Excellent cage for a growing Lab pup. Bought this to protect my car, I mean pup, in our car. He is a great chewer. Its sturdy, and fits really well in the back of our Volvo. It flattens for storage, and comes with a plastic tray. Now he's near full size, its a bit of a squeeze, he's fine sitting down, but couldnt stand for a whole journey. Sitting down (almost lying, and sitting) there is plenty of room. So I wont be buying another cage, but I will have to check that this doesnt change.

Arrived next day which was unexpected as it was due in 7 days time! Well made, solid construction. Deep plastic base which will be good for accidents but not sure how long will last with my chewy Lab.Just about fits into my BMW X3 E83. Will need to bend/file one corner back as it presses against the glass but otherwise perfect.Thanks,Chris

Bought this for our 7 month old Labrador puppy and I am so pleased with it. Previously he would be on the back seat of the car and getting tangled in the the seatbelt / headrest harness and climbing all over the back seat passengers. Now he jumps in the crate and settles really quickly. We have an S-Max and it fits perfectly so that we can still have one seat up in the boot. He has plenty of room so hoping that this will last him and we won't need to buy another crate when he is fully grown.

I ordered this crate for our Labrador puppy as we found that she needed to be secure in the boot and bars between the boot and rear seat were still going to mean she had lots of space to be thrown around in the boot. It fits perfectly in the boot of our S Max and leaves half the boot space for our stuff while giving her plenty of space and safety. The sloping side actually fits against the rear of the seats and the boot closes without touching the straight side of the crate. The crate is well made and not too heavy for taking out of the boot if needed. I don't expect to have to buy a larger crate as my pup grows - it should do her for the long term.

Brilliant crate, very well constructed and sturdy, really like the plastic tray insert as opposed to the cold noisy metal ones in cheap imported crates, I have a Ford S-Max and it fits perfectly, can have one seat flat and one up in the 3rd row ...dog is very happy to jump in and has plenty of space (Kerry Blue Terrier).

I had to return this as there was only about 2 millimetres between the top and my back windscreen. I have a Mondeo so I'm a bit unsure what car it would fit as presumably only cars bigger are estates so wouldn't need one side sloping... However, I could not fault the quality. Frustrating that having paid a lot for delivery I also had to pay £10 for it to be collected so an expensive try. Have since purchased a medium size car crate directly from a company online, equal quality, half the price and free delivery...if only I'd found it first!

This crate is absolutely amazing! My pup outgrew her smaller crate and this fits perfectly in our Zafira boot with plenty of room for luggage. The slope is genius! Perfect for journeys and for crate training too. Much quieter than our last crate too.
