The AquaRain Natural Water Filter will provide your family and loved ones with laboratory proven safe drinking water...without electricity, without plumbing, and without pressure. Our patented sub-micron ceramic technology positively removes dangerous living organisms and harmful bacteria from your drinking water...naturally...using microfiltration and gravity. A dense and highly adsorptive carbon filter bed has been incorporated within the ceramic shell and sterile metallic silver added to maintain purity in the filter system. The attractive super-sanitary stainless steel housing is press-formed without seams or welds and has easy lift handles. A unique "splash guard" system insures safe drinking water in daily operation. Here is what may be the best part... the AquaRain can produce quality drinking water for less than 2 per gallon! At the heart of our natural process micro-filter are patented ceramic filter elements specifically designed for the AquaRain system. Our state-of-the-art sub-micron ceramic elements filter water in a very natural way, using gravity to gently draw water down through our "cultured" ceramic stone in much the same manner as nature processes ground water through the earth. The microfine pore structure of our ceramic media will remove dangerous organisms such as protozoan cysts, microscopic bacteria, and even viruses. Enclosed within the hard ceramic shell we have incorporated a concentrated bed of Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) that contains a self-sterilizing metallic silver. The silvered GAC bed will adsorb various organic chemicals such as MTBE and pesticides, remove chlorine compounds including carcinogenic halogens, and improve the taste and odor of the water. Naturally occurring electrolytes and minerals in your filtered water will remain. CALIFORNIA, IOWA AND WISCONSIN: Special additional state testing and filing requirements as yet not completed prohibit us from making specific health or performance claims in these states.

Worth it's weight in gold!
We bought our Aquarain water purifier 6 years ago and the only water that I will drink gets filtered through it, first. The town water that we get has a slight smell and taste of chlorine and all city and town water is treated chemically, though you may not taste the chemicals. This is very unhealthy! One amazing thing about this product is that the filters last so long, It has been in use 24/7, 365 days per year for 6 years and the filters are no where near needing replacement. I purchased 4 new ones because I never want to be without the use of the purifier, even for a few days shipping time. Another great feature is that the purifier works very quickly, we never have to wait for clean water as long as we fill it in a timely manner. This is the only water that we will feed our dogs and cats, also. I highly reccomend this product!

Pure drinking water from our pond!
We bought our AquaRain probably 20 years ago. It has served its purpose well. All we have to do is clean the filters regularly and replace them from time to time to time. I love having pure water to drink and use in cooking. Our water supply comes directly out of our pond and runs through some filters before coming into the house. I still don't trust it and don't use our tap water for drinking, making ice or cooking. I love having these filters purify the water so we can drink it with confidence.

Highly recommended
I have owned AquaRain filter system for 10+ years. I use it everyday to filter tap water that's provided by the water company. This is the first time I have replaced the Ceramic Filter Elements in 10+ years. This is a low tech and highly efficient water filtration system. I highly recommend this product.

These filters can handle the sodium that is in my tap from the salt water filtering system my house is on.
I love the taste of my water since I am on well water that has a metalic smell and also smells like rotten eggs. The filtered water tastes as good as bottled spring water and it doesn't stink. It does take a while to filter the water as I only have a unit that holds 2 filters. I am considering an upgrade that would filter my water faster, but haven't decided yet for lack of money and space.

Sticker Shock
Noticed that they are shorter than the original filters are by quite a bit. Other than that, they seem to be working well. Price really jumped up.

filtering the bad in life.
Perhaps the best filter on the market. .2 micron ABSOLUTE filtration. Made in the USA. Adds a very pleasant taste to the water. A pair of filters lasted about 2 years with moderate use on tap/well water
