Have had no problems, but remember this is nothing more than an extension cable with a cradle, it has no effect on your charging power. Since it does not come with a power adapter you are still dependent on the adapter that came with your device or another adapter that you have purchased separately. What I am saying is if you bought this expecting to see an increase in charging speed, it just ain't going to happen. Just the way it is.If you bought it for what is is advertised to do, it is decent quality, competitively priced and does it's job. One thing I found was in the beginning it seemed very tight, almost to the point that it was not an actual "C" size but after a few days it became smoother/easier to insert and remove the phone, like a breaking in a new pair of shoes.Buy it again, you bet, actually going to pick up 2 more for our RV so don't have to move the ones at home

could not get my Motorola to mount on this so I had to send it back. Three stars because it looked well made for the price.

No joke. I got a brand new iPhone 15 Pro today direct from Apple and I wanted a usb-c dock for it because I like to be able to operate my phone with one hand at my work station. I use a Loopy Case so magnetic charging docks are not an option for me. Well, first of all this is a USB-A to USB-C adaptor. So reluctantly I dig out an old 15w Apple USB-A charger and connect to the supplied cord. Next I dock the phone into the dock and instantly get a message on the phone that there is a problem with the battery. The phone will no longer charger and continuously reboots. So this garbage dock is being returned and I now have to drive 30 min to the Apple Store for an appointment at the Genius Bar to repair or replace my brand new phone. Definitely avoid this piece of crap dock.

Initially, I thought the unit was only for some Android phones because my phone didn't want to fit into the slot correctly. Then, I realized that the charger is made for unprotected phones. That is phones that are not tucked into a protective cover. If you remove the cover first, before placing it in the charger, it works great and there is no frustration.
