For the price it is a decent deal, however, I didn't realize the wood was unfinished and the clear top is a cheap plastic. Otherwise I'm very happy with the product.

I thought I had already reviewed this, but I will do so again. I love Stash teas. I bought this as a gift and was expecting it to be the lined wooden box that it was in the past. It still comes in a wooden box, but there is no lining, just wood. So, I was a little disappointed in the presentation. The teas still taste great though and there is a great mix of flavors, some with caffeine and some without.

I needed a tea organizer because I'm a tea hoarding monster. If the Little Mermaid had a tea obsession, I've got them whoozits and whatzats tea galore all piled precariously on many shelves of my cupboard. I've searched the internet nigh and far for a pleasant box that would allow me to see all my precious individual bags at once. My criteria was that: 1. the tea bags could stand upright to be able to view labels (because Marie Kondo logic works for other things besides t-shirts and undies.)2. No glass display front, no frills, ie, those tiny accessory drawers or jewelry box clasps. My logic being, the less dazzling features, the more robust the box would be to withstanding daily usage and accidents. How useful is a display glass if it shatters?3. I'm cheap. Doesn't really belong on this list, but you need to know that's my anthem and I'm looking for the biggest bang for the buck.Most presentable tea chests start around ~$30... I'm referring to velvet lined, mahogany stained beauties that luxe lounges and hotel receptions would display. This is far from that. What got me was the incredible value (cue anthem). Its a cheap plexi-glass front that I took a gamble on, and I'm okay with it. I wouldn't call it a gorgeous box like many have. Beyond the rough splintery details, and less than perfect hinges that others have mentioned, it is still pleasant to look at. I wouldn't gift it to anyone, to be honest. It arrived in an amazon box without any other packaging, no shrink wrap, no air pillows. I'm for environmentally friendly packaging, but this was a shocker that it arrived without major damage. Overall, it is good enough for a budget purchase.The biggest value you are getting from the purchase is the quantity and assortment of teas you get. Could you make your own bundle yourself? Yeah. A six box sampler assortment from Stash is $19.95 and you'll get 108 bags total. A similar tea chest as this is listed for $13 on Amazon. But you do get a very nice assortment to sample teas. This purchase did little to help organize the current condition of my tea cave. But I did just acquire a sizable addition to my collection, and it came quite nicely organized.

The box is heavy, with a glass lid, and a smooth, magnetic closure. The teas inside were fresh smelling!

I was on the fence about buying this because of all the negative reviews. But I really liked the wide assortment of flavors.I took a gamble on the bamboo box.I was pleasantly surprised! The box is nice! I like the color, texture, and the dividers. Great value and looks great on my coffee table.Yes you do have to arrange the teas in the box. No biggie. Since the grain is a bit rough, be careful for splinters.I WILL be ordering more of these as gifts.Super speedy delivery. I’m one happy customer 😊
