Sadly the Amazon box had been ripped open and repaired by the Royal Mail guys I assume, with gaffer tape. Luckily the jug inside was also boxed and works as expected. I like the fact the filter lasts a year and just stops working when it needs to be replaced.

I got this one, because not only did it take minerals out, but bacteria alsoYou can tell by the pictures the difference that makes. We have a well at a cottage where the water is not used most of the winter. We have a filtration system but the water still didn't taste good to me. I purchased one of these and we don't buy any bottled water anymore! Love it so much I purchased another for my primary home just because it tastes better.

Great pitcher. The filter is a little slow but it fits well in the fridge door and pours well!

I bought a plastic pitcher because it was so much cheaper than the glass. It works really well. And the big filter only has to be changed annually. Very cost effective.

I just did not like the taste of tap water, besides concern about impurity of it. I tried several other brands, I used to pour water in one and that filtered water I would put through alkaline water pitcher, still I couldn’t drink that water. So ended up getting bottle water. I had used life straw water bottles for few years while traveling so I was familiar with them. When I saw this jug, I jumped at it. I love water that comes through it. I have so far bought 4 of them, two I gave as gift and each recipient loves it too. Thank you lifestraw.
