I don't know if it is a change in curriculum, or just my children's attention spans ((Look! Squirrel!)) but it is frustrating how little they really know about geography. We like to travel, and have visited many states, yet when a question comes up they have no clue. I printed and posted a map so they had a picture to reference, but it just never grabbed their attention and then "Mysteriously" disappeared one day. So, knowing how much my kids and grandkids like shiny objects, I saw this come up as a deal in Amazon and thought, why not?I decided not to mount the poster as a sticker, but to instead use the paint safe mounting dots. Yes, it took quite a few, but I know we will eventually want to move this in the future. We put stickers up for some of the states we visited and talked about what they remember from the trip, what their favorite memory was, and we talked about state facts, points of interest and its location compared with other landmarks. They were excited about adding the stickers, and seem more engaged. Will this improve their geography knowledge? Only time will tell, but at least now they are showing interest.

I wanted one of these kind of maps for months, since moving into my RV full time. Once I had enough money to buy non-essential things, this was one of my first purchases, and I just love it. Even in my tiny travel trailer, I found the perfect space for it on the front of one of my IKEA Trones shoe storage cabinets. It's hanging just inside my door, and is a great conversation starter with visitors! I was especially impressed that it was printed with lightfast colors. Now granted, it's inside and not on the exterior of my rig, and I have yet to see ANY printing ink pigment that isn't somewhat fugitive in consistent direct sunlight. But this map is fairly consistently exposed to indirect and direct sunlight both, and it looks as good as the day I put it up months ago. Many of my fellow nomads comment on how great it looks. Highly recommended.

Placed on side of camper- fun to add stickers as we go.

It's what I wanted, but follow their instructions for application and TAKE YOUR TIME. Putting the main map down flat and with no bubbles is tricky but be careful. I've been to 45 states so putting all of the state stickers on properly took some time so I could work out bubbles and get the sticker to fit within its boundary.Don't make the mistake I made and try to install the base map too quickly! Prep the surface well, and really work those bubbles out!

I chose this product for the colors. Mistake. I have had maps before and even returned one that could not be adhered properly. This came with wrinkles and went on with bubbles, even though I took my time and even had my husband help. The map I found best was SeeManyPlaces, because it went on smoothly and was shipped flat. I just wanted to try something different. I definitely would not buy this again.Let me emphasize that by saying that, after less than a year, many of the states have peeled on the edges. This is a terrible product!

Product is very nice and easy to install. I installed mine on a piece of plexiglass so that I could mount it on the inside of the RV door. Very visible while camping with the door open and can be moved to our next camper if we replace this one. While it is easy to install by yourself, I recommend a second person to hold the decal as you use a credit card (or something similar) to squeegee out any bubbles and prevent the decal from sticking to itself.

This product met our expectations entirely. It is high quality, perfect size, states are represented as colorful and fun.It is extremely adhesive and while that is exactly what we wanted/needed, it makes it all the more important to get initial placement exactly where you want it the first time and remove as many air bubbles as possible as you move across the surface during installation.

Do not yet know about durability as our motor coach is under a carport. It takes some time and patience to put it on with few air bubbles. I put it on the lower part of the door on the outside, avoiding the swirl designs already on the sides. I love looking at it and am very happy with the overall appearance.
