Rachael Ray Hard-Anodized Nonstick Oval Pasta Pot / Stockpot with Lid and Pour Spout, 8-Quart, Gray with Orange Handles

This is my first experience with Rachael Ray cookware. When I first removed the cookware from the set, I first noticed how light weight it was. I then noticed the attractive orange handles they were made and the beautiful clear lids with clear view glass view. It's not high end cookware, but it would be welcome in many or most homes.I used this to cook maggi. It was so perfectly cooked and also i don't see any thing stick to the bottom of the pan. They are made beautifully and perfectly for the use of cooking. I love to cook in Rachael Ray cookware. The food was delicious and tasty whenever i use these product for cooking.I always use to cook dal. Unfortunately, one day I forgot to turn off the stove and i see all mess in my kitchen. I see the dal was totally overcooked and some part of it was sticked to the cookware. That could have resulted in quite a mess with some other types of cookware, but it cleaned up quickly and still looked brand new.What I liked:* The design is very modern and attractive.* The glass lids have a sturdy rim that is designed so food will not be easily trapped* The orange handles are non-slip and easy to grip, and they keep very cool while cooking* The small size pots are very handy, and the 6 quart stock pot is a nice small-size stockpot that I'm finding a much better size for my use.* Cleanup was super easyWhat I didn't like:* The pots seem to be about half the thickness of most of my other pots and pans. While I don't think they would dent easily if dropped, they don't have a sturdy, well made feel to them.* When compared to my Calphalon, they also do not have the same quality hard anodized finish on the outside.* The nonstick coating doesn't feel as high quality as other brands. So far, so good though!* The pans do not have a thick bottom, and seem to heat unevenly. My food scorched quickly, so cooking time and technique will vary from my other cookware.I think this would make a great starter set for someone just starting out on their own. Despite the few flaws that I noticed , I am enjoying using this cookware and cooking just became a little more fun!

Beautiful set & functions great! I have an old back injury (2003) and have difficulty cooking for any length of time (especially when using heavier cookware). I experience pain for a day + after cooking. I cannot say enough about the ease of clean up!!! It's a breeze! I was looking for something lightweight & durable. This set fits the bill! I ordered a set of utensils that match well. With proper use & care, I believe this will be last set! Thank you, Rachael Ray!

The Racheal Ray pot set I bought is the best I’ve ever had. They look great! and I can cook anything and it cleans like a dream

This pot, like my other Rachel Ray cookware, is outstanding. Love the size, color, and quality.

This is a solid grill pan, especially for the relatively inexpensive price. I wanted to start to cook my own grilled chicken, burgers, etc. at home, and this was a nice jump. Keep in mind, I've never had a grill pan before, so this is my first experience with one!First, this pan is a decent size - it can easily hold four burgers at once, or multiple chicken breasts. If you allow the pan to pre-heat, you do get those nice grill marks on the food. It's still as non-stick as ever, but I took note of the directions before hand (medium heat and a soft sponge!) to ensure it lasts a long time.The biggest issue I have with this pan is the time it takes to cook food, especially things like chicken. It takes a LONG time to grill chicken breasts unless they are super thin. The first few times I used this pan, I had to put the chicken back to cook, even after 5 minutes per side. I have resulted to adding a bit of water to the pan at the end of the cooking process to create some steam to super-heat the pan, but I shouldn't have to do that. Also, this pan did not come with a cover, so I am using other lids to trap the heat in place.In addition, the pan is a pain in the butt to clean. It's definitely nonstick, but food tends to get trapped in the ridges of the grill sections. I am sure this is a common problem with grill pans... but I just thought I would mention it! I usually use a paper towel to clean this pan, and I have to really dig into those ridges in order to get the gunk out.Like I mentioned, this is a solid nonstick grill pan that does what it promises. If you buy this, just be sure to leave chicken on this pan for a little extra time!

Bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. Beautiful color and they cook everything very good and super easy to clean I think I'll get a set for myself
