SnugpakSleeper Expedition | Basecamp | Sleeping Bag | Mummy Shape (2023 Style)

Was wanting new, warm sleeping bags for the kids that weren't going to break the bank but would potentially see us into colder camps through the year. These seemed relatively inexpensive and after much research setttled on two snugpak expedition bags. We have just come back from 5 days in a very wet, damp and chilly Snowdonia. I couldn't be more impressed with these bags. I tested one out and my 16 year old the other. Incredibly warm, incrsbly cosy would definitely recommend. I have read much about snugpak's zips being weak and fiddly. I didn't have any problems with the zip but did ensure to careully zip the bag up each time.These bags are extremely bulky and this makes them quite tough to stuff into the stuff sack. I also have an elite 5 softie and I found these expedition bags really hard to repack, to the point my youngest couldn't do it. Also the size and weight means they are great for car camping but I wouldn't fancy carrying one in a back pack, that said would happily recommend for anyone not worriied about size or weight and wanting warmth. Very pleased.

Nice warm bag, if you want to stay warm on a freezing night and weight isn't an issue get one of these you won't be disappointed.
