1 month of use
Basically I installed it 1 month ago and tried it, the rails does not fit properly, they keep moving, used a impact driver to tight it very well and nothing.———————*UPDATE*Communication with the seller has been very fluent, they understood the problem and helped me fix it without hesitation. They wanted to improve any problems or concerns I had with their product and it helped a lot. Friendly and Kind.

I wouldn’t buy again
Bought this for my rooftop tent. On the first outing it collapsed on my cab leaving a dent and rubbed off paint. Had to use a splint on the rest of the trip so it wouldn’t collapse again. Parts and boost rusted and/or fell out.Assembly wasn’t the easiest due to poor instructions.

Poor quality of hardware.
Majority of bolts and nuts are rusting after just being on truck for about 2 1/2 months. The plastic nut covers in the kitchen did not fit either. It's definitely less expensive than others but be ready to source out some stainless fasteners to replace the ones you can.The kit was simple enough to install even with sub standard instructions but I am mechanically inclined.

Fixes Tacoma short-bed shortness.
My buddy has a 5' bed in his Tacoma (the longest is 6', sigh) and when we need to haul a few sheets of plywood, it can be...trying.With the upward-adjustability of this being high enough to clear the roof, this becomes the way we now haul plywood. Strapped to the top of this. For the record, with an 800lb max rating, that means the most 3/4" 4x8 sheets of plywood you can haul is 10 and be within the margin of safety. 11 sheets could very well be heavier than 800 lbs.Installation is easy if you've ever installed anything into their track system. He has a fold-up soft tonneau cover, but it has to come off when using this. Luckily, it's easy to put on and take off. This REALLY opens up the cargo capabilities of his 5' Tundra, and compared to some of the cheaper ones (which I've looked at), this is the best thing going that I've yet seen. It's a little pricier than some other racks, but it's made so much better AND adjustable that it's worth the extra cost, hands down.

A lot of pieces
I wish I could give a more accurate depiction of this bed rack but unfortunately I am missing a good deal of the fasteners and I am unable to put it together. It seems like quality steel and theoretically I can weld everything up but that is a bit more permanent that what I was intending. I will go hunting for hardware to complete the install and I will update if I ever get it installed. Please note that I think everything came in the box but an over eager lass opened the box and I believe the hardware was lost in the process no fault of the company. As I said the quality is there and upon deciding what route to take for install I will update.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

Product shouldn’t rust and it’s a waste of money

Top of the line item- easy to put together
You don't want to open this item until you are ready to put it together- not just because there are a lot of pieces but because all the aluminum pieces are wrapped so you don't know what is what until you have everything unwrapped- not just out of the box. Yep- each of the aluminum pieces comes in thick and padded wrapping (and then all taped to seal it up tight) so the company has done the very best to ensure that when this truck rack goes together- it isn't going to be dinged or marred by any dents (at least not because of them ;). I knew that when my husband got this together if there were any dings- they were his fault (though I know he'd tried to blame them on anyone else ;).The company also does a good job ensuring that you can easily get this item together- you have a detailed book of instructions and if you take a look at one of the photos that I included with this review, you can see that there is an Allen key included. That means much, if not all of the installation can be done with it.While my husband and I have not put this item together yet, part of me wants to put it together just to see if we could do the entire thing with an Allen key. I am always amazed when a company can whittle down something that the customer needs to put together on their own to the bare minimum parts with the bare minimum of tools- and in investigating this item- the parts, how it goes together, the screws and brackets- IMO that is what has been done here. The company has designed this rack to be easily put together and used.We had a little debacle with the item when my husband moved it to the place where we are staying (though it was never supposed to come here), from our storage unit, thinking that the box contained a bedroom set. Then, when he got it home, he demolished the box taking it apart. Even by the time we discovered that the parts inside were for a truck rack, rather than a bed frame- the box was destroyed enough that we could no longer use it to store all the parts for the truck rack anymore (and finding another box of the right size to contain the set again has not been easy either). So, after we got the right box that contained the parts needed for the bed frame, all the parts for this truck rack, taken apart- are now stored under the bed (yes, the same one he thought he was bringing in taking the truck rack box). I don't want to move any of the parts (as I don't want to lose them) until we have a box big enough to move them all at once. It would be such a shame to lose any part of this truck rack because, if that was done, while I am sure that something might be worked out to make it work- it would no longer be an easy fix. Luckily, as I said, the manufacturer put all the parts in white thick wrapping (except for the picture that I showed of the box that contains all that you need to put the parts together)- so I know that we still have everything we need to get this together one day- even if I do have it under my bed right now. When it comes to the way that this came, even though my husband took out everything- the box that you see in my photos is the only one that contains fasteners, screws, and the small items you need to get the frame together. So, as long as you have this box (and it was taped shut with thick tape before I opened it)- and all the present-like frame parts, you have everything you need to get this together.I don't think it is an item that a person will look at, especially with the directions, and be overwhelmed by. Even if you look at the pictures that I included with this review, these are all the small parts needed in this frame- and even as a woman who doesn't put many things together (my husband generally does these things)- as a reader of directions when it comes to the more complicated things we have put together in our life- I wasn't too worried about getting this item together. We got this truck rack to use on my husband's work truck so that they could put it on the Toyota Tacoma truck and it would help them carry things to and from jobs. However, there is a unit in the truck bed that they need to carry for bug extermination and it wouldn't work out right with the truck rack (size-wise they conflicted). While my husband wanted to take the unit out when they used the truck rack (as my husband didn't think this would be too hard of a unit to move back and forth, and it wouldn't need to be done daily either), his boss didn't want to do this- and you know who gets the final word when it comes to a situation like that (and the reason why this rack is now stored under my bed ;). In the end, having this rack leaves us to consider getting a Toyota Tacoma of our own now- just so that we can get some use out of it.If there are any questions about this item, please feel free to reach out and ask.Thank you
