RONSEAL RSLSWUTGP25L Stays ULT/Tough Gloss Paint, White, 2.5 Litre

After using this product later I notice that I’d spilt some on my tshirt an hour or so earlier. Whilst having a shower I noticed my skin sore. After checking the T-shirt the paint had eaten away some of my T-shirt and I had received a chemical burn. I contacted the seller and all they replied was no apology just that the product does not contain chemicals. Well how has this done this to my T-shirt and skin? Do not buy from this seller and if you do be very careful with their product. I will be contacting Ronseal and Amazon directly.

Well I’ve been using acrylic for many years now and when I discovered that Ronseal made a staywhite range I thought I would give it a go,I have been using the Ronseal ultra tough stays white in the purple tin as discribed in the listing for many years but when it came the tin design what totally different.This paint was much thinner than the one I’ve previously used I’ve stirred the paint thoroughly with a drill and paint stirrer but stayed the same consistency, I’ve prepared all the woodwork thoroughly and am now on my third coat using a expensive acrylic paint brush and still not a gloss finish more like satin- semi gloss.Will be Emailing Ronseal to see what they have got to say about it shame because in this case it didn’t do what it said on the tin 😕

Ronseal varnishes and paints are always great for toughness. This paint needs to be mixed thoroughly before each coat; however, this paint is thin and even after using a good undercoat I still needed four coats of gloss paint to gain an even white finish over dark wood.

Very easy to use. Needs two coats to cover fully, but as so quick drying they can be done the same day. Quite thin so doors need checking for drips on panelling after roller application. Quick and easy to use, easy to clear spills with wet cloth and to clean up afterwards with soap and water. Have previously used Ronseal water based gloss and that lasted years and was fine. Not had this one long enough to comment on its longevity.

Easy to use. No mess as wash with water. Does need 2 coats. But got 15 door sides done twice from 1 2.5ltr tin. Very white.

o so bright gives the whole room a lift. Found it seems to apply easiest on sanded not primed surface does need two coats as stated. Dry's quick & love the lack of smell win win! (both of us suffer normally with paint fumes causing breathing difficulties.)Only problem now had to paint the rest of the rooms as they looked so tatty in comparison do not think I will buy any other white gloss but this from now on.
