You can try to search car forums to see if any one has done this before to find the direction the ATF flows in your car. Or you can disconnect one of the hoses underneath and start your car for a few seconds to see which end of the hose the ATF spews out from. Its not a problem to let a little ATF come out while you do this since there is a reservoir anyway. Just make sure you don't have your car running too long.
