My original order was delayed by the US Postal Service over a long, hot weekend. The plants arrived in bad condition; three were dead and one was questionable. I didn't think the USPS delay was the fault of the seller, but I emailed them to ask if there was anything they could suggest. They immediately promised to send me an entire replacement order, this time by Federal Express. The four new plants arrived beautifully healthy and ready to provide me a lot of great basil this summer. Thank you, Bonnie Plants -- I think you went above and beyond on this, and keep up the great customer service!

The Basil plants were sent out without the same care as other plants I've gotten from Bonnie's. My suggested is to read the "most recent" reviews as well as the 1 and 2 star reviews. I've ordered Bonnie's plants before but this is the first time I've ordered Basil. Don't order the Basil plants. They are just too temperamental. I've ordered the Rosemary and also a four pack of Rosemary, Sage, Oregano and Thyme. These were very moist upon arrival and just needed a good watering and sunlight to bring them back. These Basil plants may not make it. First of all, they are about one third the size they show in the picture. Very skimpy and new looking. Each plant had 2-3 leaves and that is it. Very new and delicate. They were so dry that the dusty dry dirt shook out of their plastic containers into the box. I don't think they were roughed up, I just think that whoever is sending out the Basil is not taking the same care as the other plants. Basil needs a good watering and wrapped in plastic around the pot to keep the moisture in. Bonnie's should know this. The refund was easy though. Just go through the Chat Function.

We put in a small backyard garden every year. For some reason he could not find Basil plants locally. I searched Amazon, and ordered from the best reviews and reasonable price. Ordered on Sunday afternoon, and delivered shortly after noon on Wednesday. They were in these sturdy plastic containers, and each is good size and healthy. None were wilted, which actually surprised me. I removed them, watered a little, and placed them in our garden. We use lots of Basil, and dehydrate it also to use in meals we make throughout the winter. That stay fresh in glass jars, then crumble them in sauces, etc. Glad I took a chance and ordered these. Probably will have enough to share lots with co-workers this Summer. I am totally satisfied with product and shipping.

Received these a few days ago. They were small plants, one broken-up. See photo. They were nowhere near what was shown in the picture for the item. The ones in the picture I uploaded were after removing dead and moldy leaves on unpacking. Now, two days later, they are developing crown rot and are declining even further. I would have walked past these plants if I were physically at a nursery or plant seller.I doubt these plants will survive. Value for money is beyond horrible.

i have never had such great packaging from an online order!. Bonnie Plants did a great job in trying to secure the plantings... i say trying because despite all the warnings and care in packing, one plant was out of the packing materials and anothe had the planting materials tossed around the box. i am sure it was the delivery that disregarded the fragile and keep uprightnotices on the box. the box itself had air holes and each plant had a protective casing to keep it secure. i highly recomment Bonnie Plants to anyone. I cant wait to tract the growth, these are ver yhealthy looking plants!

Good value for the money, however 3 plants died. I'll just go to loews or home depot for plants in future

Plants were packed perfectly. Arrived in excellent condition. Would purchase from this company again.

Disliked, 6 plants came and 4 were dead, the other two were in bad shape. I attempted to plant the others but we will see what they do. I should have returned but it was a waste of time as it code more in gas and my time. We have ordered direct from burpee and the quality of shipping is poor..
