Pugs are small but chunky so in order to fit their girths sizes are tricky. I followed the suggestion to go bigger if size was borderline. Was way too big. Not only was size big but the saddle covered her entire back. The Velcro is very sticky and the girth material folds over and sticks to the Velcro which makes it impossible to fasten around dog quickly. It was a constant struggle. So being too big the cowboy flops over the side. I used it for one picture (shown) but I also did a lot of sewing and was rendered useless afterwards.

This was great! My dog got a lot of great compliments and a lot of attention.
