These are very sharp sewing scissors, both literally and figuratively. I have been using these to cut thread, ribbon, and yarn. They are sharp enough to handle it all with ease. I thought that perhaps the very decorative nature of the handles would be an issue. After using them I discovered that not only are they lovely looking, but they don't interfere with ease of use. They are relatively comfortable and don't put undue stress on my arthritic hands. The case that they come with is nice as well. I worried about that as well because it doesn't have a snap, merely a hole and post. I needn't of worried as I have had no issues with it coming undone, even after accidentally dropping the whole shebang multiple times. At least for now, they aren't going anywhere. These scissors have become my new go to pair for so many crafting uses. Excellent buy.

These scissors are so nice in person. The angel wing design is so unique and beautiful. They are impressively sharp and comfortable to hold. They remind me of something you’d find at an antique store or a flea market. Love them and happy I got them.

Cuts threads with ease, and makes you look like a steampunk tailor.Ok, the handles are mostly decorative, but they just look so good, as does the little pouch that they slide into.

What a lovely pair of small sewing scissors!Firstly, they look gorgeous, they are a very pretty, vintage looking bronze with shaped handles and a lovely sheen. They are decently heavy for such small scissors and come with a lovely little green case that snaps closed to keep them in place.The most important part, of course is that they are sharp - and they are. Delightfully sharp with strong straight blades that make short work of snipping threads. As the title says, they would not look out of place in a Victorian lady’s parlour.
