Nice magnetic knife block
I wanted a magnetic knife block for my new kitchen knives. Some of the reviews for this knife block concerned me, but I decided to try it. First, it came in excellent packaging, well protected from scratches and damage. I was surprised and pleased at the solid weight of the block. There were 5 screws for attaching the base to the block. Only 4 are needed. An extra was an appreciated bonus, just in case. The screws went in very easily since the holes lined up well. I tightened them down, turned the block over, and placed it on the counter while hoping the suction cups would do their job. They did.The block was stable and stuck to the counter very nicely. I loaded the block with my old knives - the new ones had not yet arrived. Strong grip by the magnets for the 5 knives in my old set plus several paring knives. My new knives arrived yesterday and I quickly placed them on the block and was very pleased with both their grip onto the block and the appearance of the knives. My new chef’s knife is 8” and it fit with little to no room left, so not sure if a longer knife would work as well.Overall, I am very pleased with the block for both utility and appearance. 5 stars.

Finally! A knife holder that is close to perfect!
Before buying this knife holder, I bought two others, both wood: one costs $129 (not cheap) and the other costs $43. I returned both. What I learned is that the magnets must be long and horizontal and positioned so that the knife can be placed anywhere on the holder, not ONLY in certain locations. And if the knife is not in the precisely correct location, the knife falls off. Worse yet, sometimes the knife falls off immediately and other times the knife falls off later on when you aren’t paying attention and potentially causing damage to itself or falling off the counter or onto the floor. Not good! The other thing i immediately learned about wood holders is that the wood scratches immediately upon use. I have a set of SUPER expensive Japanese Damascus steel knives that are like pieces of art, literally. I am proud of them and want to see them displayed. And because they are super sharp, they scratch the wood every time I put one on or take one off. That said, my third knife holder purchase, this stainless steel version, solved both of these deal breaker problems. This holder looks great, hasn’t shown any signs of scratches nor does it matter where I place the knives - they will adhere! Now for the cons: yes the stainless steel shows finger prints, not ideal but not a deal breaker for me. Another possible con is that I suspect that over time (hopefully after a very long time) the stainless steel could show specks of rust. I have NOT seen any but stainless steel, like all steel, can show rust over time. I am just being realistic. I will be careful to keep this dry.Another pro I wanted to mention is that, although this holder has suction cups on the bottom, they really aren’t needed. This holder is HEAVY and much heavier than the wood holder that cost me $129.Overall, I love it. It’s not perfect, but it’s far better than the two other wooden holders that I tried.

Sturdy, organized and easy on the eyes
Pros:-Good quality, strong magnet but not the bottom 1.5” so don’t put any knife there.-It’s large and can hold up all my knives including 4 butcher/chopper.- Anti slip and suction cups in the bottom make it super steady.Cons: constantly have to wipe it clean (maybe I’m OCD)Over all, if you don’t mind a little hand print marks here and there, its a great product to have.

Affordable and reliable good quality
Works well has two suction cups on bottom and it’s heavy so it works well and has a great look and hold I put really really expensive knives on the one so it doesn’t shine like it should working on a all stainless steel kitchenNot A Robot

Modern organization
This is beautiful (in my opinion). I was about to purchase a second-hand, used wood knife block and try to make it 'look better'. I like the flatness of this organizer. The knives rest securely on the walls of this unit. It even holds my utility scissors. There are auction cups on the bottom so it also sits securely on the counter.

Very strong Magnet
I have Hexclad knives which are amazing(coming from a retired meat cutter for 28yrs). Hexclad has one of these knife holders, which i am sure is very good quality, but expensive. This one works really well. I have thin clear plastic protectors on tthe knives and they really still stick to magnet board. Pretty cheap in cost and if you have stainless steel appliances it matches perfectly. You can also have knives on both sides as i do. Great product at reasonable price.
