SZ Stearic Acid 16 Oz (Triple Pressed). for DIY Cosmetics, Soap, Candles.

I haven't had any issues with this product, and it works well for my purposes.

So walked into hobby lobby for some 10$ batteries- walked out with 130$ worth of candle making equipment- new to all 1st candles were cool but definitely on the softer side- I put some Stearic Acid in and it makes a big difference- notice a big change in burn time too.

I would buy this product from this company over and over again. They are quick to get back with you with questions regarding their ingredients.

Gives nice finish to the cream/ lotion.

I used this as one ingredient in making hot process transparent bar soap (per the Failor methods). There's not a lot to say other than that it worked. It comes in a resealable Ziploc-like pouch (capable of standing up on its own, unlike a bag), which is great for storage. When I bought it, it was eligible for Prime, so shipping was fast and convenient, and the price (while subject to change) was reasonable, but if you want more than 1 lb you can find other sizes for less per unit.This product was exactly as expected, and the good packaging makes it easy to store. If I keep making this kind of soap, I would not hesitate to order this again (or get a larger size).

The stearic acid did exactly what I bought it for. I wanted to use this in soap recipes to thicken the bars of soap. I've used it 3 times and I believe it did what I wanted it to do. I understand it is also somewhat of a preservative and so that is a plus. I'm still learning about making soap and creams and such things. This was a happy find. I recommend you do your own homework. Look things up on the internet and see what other people show you about this stuff on YouTube and it will help you decide if you can use it for yourself.
