My dog had surgery 2 years ago. Her doc said that she needed to go on a low-fat diet to live well into old age. We changed her main meals to a Royal Canin variety recommended by a doggie internist. After a long search, I finally found these. The fat level is between a 1.5% and a 2%, which is hard to find. I soak these treats in water, about 4 or 5 a day, for a 20lb.pug to soften them up. (They are hard because they do not have fat!) Also, I slice them to make more treats. Try these to help your precious pup!

My dog is obsessed with these treats. He just loves them. He has Cushings and requires low fat treats and these fit his requirements. My sweet little dog is on a super strict, low fat diet, so it's really difficult to find any treats that she's allowed to have. These cookies are perfect because they are super low in fat; plus, she loves them! Thank you, Baltimore Dog Bakery! P.S. My one suggestion is to offer them in various flavors so she could have some variety. :)

Since my dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis, went to amazon to find fat free treats! All reviews were positive for dog liking. Unfortunately, gave Rudy one , pit it in his mouth and immediately dropped it on floor and walked away! Tried again several days later and same thing! They smell good, cinnamon smell but he wants nothing to do with it!!
