Awesome product and fantastic customer service
TL:DR - This product lives up to its 5 star reviews - Very happy customer.I had recently had a patio poured in my backyard and decided to finish it with a concrete stain. The stain manufacturer suggests sealing the concrete to enhance the color and protect the finish, so that began my search for a high-quality sealer that would be reasonably priced and easy to apply. Some of these products required approx. 4-10 gallons for 1000 sqft of coverage and most of them were way too expensive. When I stumbled upon this gem (no reviews at the time I purchased) with 600 sqft of coverage per gallon for $50 I figured it was worth a shot and bought 2 gallons. The sealer arrived when promised, and while I was excited to try it out I will admit I was becoming a bit more skeptical; how can this product achieve in 2 gallons what it takes another product do achieve in 10? I decided to give their customer service all call and was greeted with a recording to leave a message. Not expecting to get a call back, I opted to hang up and call back at a later time hoping to get a live rep on the phone. To my surprise someone from Black Diamond had immediately called me back and was ready to address my concerns. After explaining that this would be applied to freshly poured concrete with a stain, she said the coverage rate would be closer to 500 sqft (I was honestly thinking it would be much, much less). Satisfied with her answer, I was ready to move forward with my project. To apply this sealer is very simple; pour into a pump sprayer and get to work. The 2 gallons were just enough to cover my entire patio with a little left over (spot on, customer service lady). After it’s applied the product disappears on the concrete so I was concerned I might not have put enough on. To my surprise it worked like a charm, beading up water sprayed with a hose. As an added bonus, even a burst lantern filled with citronella was no match for this stuff - the oil rinsed right off in the rain leaving no visible stain.All-in-all I am overly impressed with this product and the customer service that comes with it. I highly recommend and would definitely purchase again.

Fantastic Sealer
Like you, I was looking for a good cement that wasn't super expensive. I was skeptical of Aqua-X because it didn't have a ton of ratings or reviews. But I decided to just go for it. And it worked out great! It's been 3 months since I applied it, and it's still beading water. I used a pump sprayer to apply it, and did 2 medium coats. The 600 sq. ft per gallon was actually pretty close, and I even had some left over. It absorbed pretty quick, and is clear when it dries, so I wasn't sure it would work well, but it rained after 3 days and it was very clear it worked.Note: This goes on clear, and will not give you that "wet" look if that's what you're after. And you can use a roller if it pools, but I didn't have any issues with unevenness.

great sealer
I used this to seal my concrete driveway and sidewalks. Application was simple with a pump sprayer and water now beads up on the driveway like a good wax job on a car. I hope this will last for a few years as my only complaint is the price. I had to use nearly 2 full 5 gallon bottles to do the full job but the coverage rate was right in line with their estimates. I didn't need to do a second coat - so it was a simple and quick application.

Good quality, but not the coverage promised
I am using this product to seal all the hardscape around my home. The quality is good - natural, clear appearance, and good water beading, etc. The biggest problem is that the advertising says (in bold letters) that this is a great value due to excellent coverage (up to 3000 feet for the 5 gallon container). I applied it lightly, using a fine mist - no puddling or runoff, and needed the entire 5 gallons to cover my 900 sqft concrete driveway, so had to buy a second 5 gal can. It covered even less, so I'll still have to buy more. If cost and coverage are important for you, you may want to consider a different product. I would not have bought this if I had known it would take $600 worth of sealer for my project.

Coverage was not what I expected
Spent a few days using a power washer cleaning the area's I had planed to seal ... let it dry for 2 days, and vacuumed the area to remove any dirt that was left. I used a 2 1/2 gallon sprayer to apply the sealer... I don't have a total square footage but I'm guessing I sprayed (so far) probably 600sqft maybe and so far, I"ve used 3 gallons. When spraying I made sure I stayed about 12" about the surface, and swiped back and forth as evenly as I could... I have about 2 gallons left so I'l have to decide what I need to finish off so I don't run out...I am not skilled at this, but, I think I did a good even swipes across the concrete. Not sure why my yield was lower than promoted... If I tried to go any lighter I don't it would have done a good coat...Perhaps others that have used this could give me any suggestions to cover an area better...

Spray Conservatively!
Do not saturate the surface! I followed the instructions and after calculating the square footage I found that 2 gallons should be enough to cover. I used a one gallon sprayer and as I wad was applying it didn't appear that it was covering sufficiently. I continued to spray conservatively and I'm glad I did because when I finished I had zero product left. Because it goes down clear it's very misleading. After it dried however I took a hose to it and the water beads up like it can't possibly penetrate to the cement. It's been a couple of months now with typical Florida afternoon monsoons and the driveway still looks great. I hope it lasts as long as they claim.
